I was born July 8, 1961 making me a Cancer with a Cancer rising but thankfully my moon is in Taurus to help ground me! The sea has always inspired me, She is the essence of my art. Although I grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, I fell in love with the ocean as a little girl while vacationing by the seaside. I found my passion in the ocean, and longed to return to Her beauty as soon as possible .....and now I live by the shore...dreams do come true.

I adore ~walking along the sea's edge, the sensation of the sand sinking beneath my bare feet, as the waves roll up to kiss my toes ~dolphins, whales and seahorses ~seashells ~hugs and kisses from my kids ~the fragrance of Old Roses...such bliss ~and Lilacs and Lavender, just as delightful Hyacinths...mmmm and Violets...and Sweet Peas!!! I do Love Flowers! ~crisp clean cotton sheets that have dried on the clothesline ~sculpting ~mermaids ~oh and of course mermen *wink* ~swimming and playing in the ocean ~the first snowfall of winter ~the sight, sound and smell of huge waves crashing onto shore ~the smell of the earth after a summer's rain ~the feel of rose petals...so silky! ~violent thunder and lightening storms at night ~snowstorms that cancel all plans for the day ~poetry ~body boarding ~the crisp cool days of Autumn as the leaves begin to turn ~a huge field full of pumpkins..oh what a site to behold! ~kittens and cats ~the colours purple, blue, green, teal, periwinkle, pink, silver, creamy whites and black ~reading ~foot massages ~nautical antiques, such as glass fish floats, wicker fish baskets, model ships, scrimshaw ~the feel of my long hair blowing in the wind ~the taste of fresh, home grown vegetables ~gardening ~painting ~beading ~fresh fruit in the summer, especially cherries, oh and watermelon, canteloup, grapes, and of course strawberries and peaches mmmm I love fruit! ~the smell of homemade bread baking in the oven ~solitude ~entertaining and cooking for friends ~building sandcastles at the waters edge and then waiting for the tide to come in and wash them away ~staying up late and sleeping in on weekends ~breakfast in bed ~long hot baths on cold winter nights
I dislike ~clutter ~spiders ~mornings ~spicy food ~country music ~olives...yuckkkk! ~meat, yes I'm a vegetarian ~being around people that smoke ~rude people...whatever happened to manners? ~people whose minds are tightly closed to anything new
