I look my documents
I see my name, my birthdate, my address
yet who am I?
I look the framed sheets on the wall
I see what I have studied
yet who am I?
I look the mirror
I see my face, my hairs, my eyes
yet who am I?
I look deeper
I see my parents, my relatives
yet who am I?
Deeper, I have to go deeper
I see people I have met
yet who am I?
Deeper, deeper again
I see my loves, my sorrows, my dreams
I see my poems
yet who am I?
Deeper, deeper and deeper
It's dark
no lights, no sounds
no time, no space
I'm alone
yet I feel someone
I catch a glimpse of something
It's me
looking at the mirror.

Vedo cosa ho studiato

Guardo lo specchio

Guardo piu' profondo
Vedo i miei genitori, i miei parenti
tuttavia chi sono?
Piu' profondo, devo andare piu' profondo
Vedo le persone che ho incontrato
tuttavia chi sono?
Piu' profondo, piu' profondo ancora
Vedo i miai amori, le mie sofferenze, i miei sogni
Vedo le mie poesie
tuttavia chi sono?
Piu' profondo, sempre piu' profondo
E' scuro
nessuna luce, nessun suono
ne' tempo, ne' spazio
Sono solo
tuttavia sento qualcuno
Intravedo qualcosa
Sono io
che guardo lo specchio.
