cut was the first in a series of audio kits - the tape was about 60 seconds per side, onto which i recorded some minimal tones, and sounds that were mono all to the left or right channel - this tape was pulled out of the cassette shell and cut into short legnths - the kit included the cut tape, a razor blade, and some splicing tape and instructions : CUT into smaller pieces ~ SPLICE pieces together ~ ASSEMBLE tape and mechanism ~ PLAYBACK and listen - this first kit was self released in an edition of about 15 copies -
