what ?


what makes people want to make sounds or find sounds, record them, and then listen
to them over and over, put the sounds on some kind of audio carrier for other people
to listen to – why would someone want to listen to a small collection of frequencies
more than once – is the selection of sounds and the order in which they are presented
a necessary extension of the creative person, a quest for the perfect set of frequencies
or near perfect audio situation – why mutate a sound into some other variation of the
original pattern, or create an all together new sound, isn’t there enough audio input from
many different sources to satisfy our need to hear – maybe it is a response to a need to
capture a sound or noise that ceases to exist as soon as we perceive it, as quickly as we
sense it’s presence the vibrations are already gone –
