Because of Christmas, I smile more; I laugh more; I sing more; I play more; I hug more; I give more; I love more. 

Because of Christmas, I shop more.  And as I shop for each loved one on my list, I imagine that they are with me.  I feel that I am enfolded in their energy.  I experience their hopes, dreams and desires.  And as I choose the perfect gift, I imagine the suspense as the ribbons and wrappings fall away to reveal the perfect expression of my gratitude for past-joys-shared.  In my mind, they sense my love and they smile radiantly.  I notice that I am smiling too. 

Because of Christmas, I invite the Christ-child into the cradle of my heart.  Like all wise men, I bring gifts of peace, love and friendship to the whole world.
