The Relationship of My Daily Life to the Spiritual Universe
a writing assignment

"The Essence of Reality is invisible, but the substance of the invisible is seen and heard, and is a part of the everyday life of all." ..... Ernest Holmes,  SOM114.2

The Spiritual Universe is the invisible undergirding of all life.  It is the invisible "Essence of Reality" of which Ernest Holmes speaks.

My daily life is a minor overlay of substance upon this framework.  My experiences and perceptions make up my daily life and belong in the realm of "Body" or form.

"Body" is the only place where relationship can be perceived.  Relationship is dependent upon the world of duality; one thing in relation to another implies separation, hence form.

In Reality, my daily life and the Spiritual Universe are One and the same.

From the perspective of daily life, I choose how to interpret my relationship to the universe.  By appearances, I seem to have many, many options in relating to the universe.  There are innumerable religions, faiths, belief systems, so many holy books, philosophers, poets and saints.

But the choice is simpler than that.

Wake up or walk in my sleep.

I am an integral part of the universe, operated on by Law, with or without my awareness.

My daily life is about awakening to the Allness of it.
