The Stanford students find Singapore students
a little extreme...when we had free time we kept looking out for
available computers in the campus (from computer center to bookshop to
dormitory) throughout the whole trip---very eager to check email. Internet
has really become part of our life, we need to access it wherever we go.
Here, Timothy is pretending to show me some documents as if we are working in an office. We are actually in a students' office in the Haas Center and I am using iMac to check email. APPLE is sponsoring Stanford and hence most are iMac PCs and Laptops . |

I am now at a hill near a satellite dish of
Stanford. Very nice place, very beautiful scenery. Behind me is still part
of the school compound---very big right?
We woke up at 5am to watch sunrise. This pic
was taken just before the sun rises. Temperature was 7 degrees only.
