Ryan has a dog named Jobey. Where does the name Jobey come from?"

"I watched a movie called JACOB'S LADDER. Scary, scary movie. And Tim Robbins' son's name was Job, and I just thought that was a beautiful name, so I picked Job. It was either Job or Merlin, but I decided Job."

Here's a little incident that happened to Ryan when he was in Vancouver...

"I was walking down the street in Vancouver. My show had just come on, and I'd been recognized a few times. These girls come up and they start freaking out. They're like,'Are you the guy from that show?' And I said,'Yes, I'm on that show.'Then they screamed,'Oh, my God! It's the guy from Dawson's creek!'They wanted me to sign autographs!""

Why does Ryan like the show?:

"The whole show revolves around a very simple premise that can be summed up in two words: growing up. And that's something that, wether you're 12 or 50, you can relate to."

How does Ryan feel about show biz?

"If you come to LA with the idea that you have to be a really incredibly handsome, good-looking guy, you're never going to get anywhere. There are over 40,000 other guys better looking than you are...So I learned to laugh at myself instead."

What's Ryan's favorite colour?

"I'm partial to black."

What CD's is Ryan listening to these days?

"Barenaked Ladies! I like the New Radicals CD. And Led Zeppelin lately, but I'm a little embarrassed about that."

Where does Ryan get his hair done?

"At home. I do it myself!"
