Yesterday I was on his concert in one of night clubs. There was one extremely beautiful well-to-do girl, one modern girl of new generation style and one waitress but I talking not about them. When I talked with vocal singer after the concert one of the music group came to us and warmly shook hand me as if I was Somebody.

I also shook the hand in return and said “Thank you”.

I feel ashamed for this little misunderstanding. People can’t shake me hands just simply without reason. Surely they take me for Somebody other.

And more – before the concert there was a chap. He wanted to sit on my place and I said “Oh, sorry. Please do sit down”. And he was a bit fragile and “all-inside-himself”. He said: “I just for a minute, awfully sorry”. And than I saw him on the stage, he was drummer. There was so huge drive during the concert that he has broke drum pedal and played without it lately.

Funny, I gave to watch video with my fave movie where heroine is much the like my OA and he, (the singer), signed CD to gift to her. (And I showed her his clips as long as some years ago talking he is one of the coolest!)

   Today I was in carriage in subway about  01 AM, (night). There was young girl (pretty) and another young man made acquaintance with her and I watched it!

About half year ago I met one man who liked the same author as me, (Wodehouse). And I had video clip of one group and counted it as the best .

Toady I was on his concert and he happened to be THE MAN!

The cinch was – the clip was with full name of group and now they call themselves simply T.A.M.

Can you imagine! To be acquaint for half year and then to know that  he  is the coolest musician  whom I respected for so long time!

1.March.00 Today I’ve seen another girl. Again in subway. She sat down right opposite me. I can’t say she was perfection just because she was a little of Eastern type, (not bad but good one, but all the way). What can I say? She glanced at me and I was unable to keep her open and good-humored glance. I guess she was perfect as blade of Damask steel. Or rather as razor edged smiling blade of Damask steel. Too sharp and fearless for me. But damn it! I like namely the type!

29.Febr.00 Wow! Today I saw dazingly beautiful girl! I am sure she is perfection! And I saw her close enough, when she passed me in subway, (and I already talked to you that it’s always the greatest mystery and pleasure to see such girls in subway), while I was awaiting another girl for benefit of getting extra fiver.

Wow! These days one my good acquaintance had appointment with one former member of British Parliament,(and a author of some books), (it happened he likes the same books as we). They had a tea and even were in Moscow bus without tickets, (it was new experience for the member ;-) ).

7.Febr.00 Wow wow Wow! Today I've seen one of the coolest movies - Rosenkants and Gildernstern are dead!! It gives the idea that there are still people who ... Ok, just there are people.

Hm, today I tried to make some order with my bookshelves and found one book with sign for excellent studying. It was presented to my father. I asked my ma is it true. She answered "of course" and added that she also had books with such signatures. - Hm.

Tomorrow I wanted to post one book with cool Vishevsky lyrics to another girl and it came to me most of you are unable to get such book and to read it. Wow! I saw Mrs Chaplin on TV and she said that now many actresses call themselves as actors. It reminded me that when I tried to call my O.A. as "friend" she argued that I should call her "girlfriend". I wanted to point out that in some senses she wasn't my girlfriend and "friend" sounds more dignified but she remonstrated - she said "I am I, so I am your girlfriend". (She is a direct person, always calls a spade - spade). 

Rewotched The Mask. I want to say: There is more art in Cinema than in books and all other talks is rot. And talking about The Mask - this movie has made very clever. I don't say about characters but anything else is really smart, (and who cares a damn about characters? Are we more interesting persons then movies dammies?) Hey, pple, I would rather like to write some critics on movies, if there was a paying or publishing demand about it.

Today I was in clinic. Two good girls, (you know I consider that medical girls are the best from fairy sex), threw at me many glances while I stood in lobby. One of them was dark-haired and another fair. Both had rings on wedding-fingers, (poor things!). 

Today I saw Moscow's entry on my page, (some Moscow guest dropped into my page this week). I feel naked. I deliberately made page abroad and in English to feel free and now .... but I hope it was only accidental visit, - nothing serious, (I mean no one has got an idea seek the web after my nick name or another my traits). 

Oh! just forgot. I talked with my OA, (old acquaintance). She said she sleeps in pajamas these days, (I mean nights, of course), (considering TV news-coverage). I said: "Come on, you always sleep in pajamas." She answered: "Yes, but these days I do it especially dutifully."

Many of people became more human these days. It's true many of them are knitting their brows but you see more kindness in their eyes. I even can say that some girls looked at me on streets and in subways and even one interesting lady, (by no means old), smiled enigmatically to me and even turned round, when she walked on street, to glance at me once more. (It was broad daylight so she didn't look at me as at a robber and I wasn't in fancy-dress, so there probably were another reasons ...) 

Other thing, - I saw a women about fifty, but she hadn't any pouches under eyes at all, (and wrinkles under eyes too). To her skin would envy 18-year-old. And her stamina was perfect. I detected her age only after tiny wrinkles, like sunny beams in corner of her eyes, (just like Clint Eastwood ones, when he was not so old). 

But about people - we look at each other now, we think about each other, (at least I can say for my part). In short, we feel time. (That time, which "sure flies").

Today I was on VDNH with girl and talked about everything, talked for hours and quite loud. One man sitting on the near bench said to me: 

"Sorry for interrupting you, young man, and wedging into your speech but you are cool young man and you must create your own Society!"

Saw good girl. It was movie "Sensation". (They began to show it at 9 PM). She was good at least about half of the movie, then she made short haircut and put on beret. But I had pleasure to see her again few hours later on other channel. (Not sure for title but in Russian it sounded like "Avenue"). Saying true her hair were more carrotish and disordered and in the middle of the movie she had made a blunder again - put on awful make up and wig. It would be more thrilling if they showed her all that time without any "make-ups and hair-cuts" and without all these "intriguingly-boring" circumstances. By the way what is her name? 

Wow! Cameron Dias doesn't like Marhia Carry? What a girl!

Watched Simpsons this morning. That series when Bob tried to abolish TV with A-bomb. Wow! - This is the best!

18.August.99 Stop the writing. 

I decided to stop writing by three reasons: 

1. Your aren't a writer until you have not published. 

2. Writers hate people. I suspected it reading Jerome, Kipling, Ibsen, Priestley. Now I'm reading Saroyan and he plainly talks about it. 

3. Saroyan has the same wit, only I can write more sunny stories and I have some not-altogether-ordinary experience, but so what? 

I watched on TV about life in nature. I wrote about curious episodes from apes' life in "Policy" but it is already deleted. This time I saw fragments from lion's life, of course I knew all this a long time before but now it caused me to the active steps: I am going to kill alien cribs (cubs), - I will delete stories of Dan and Reppie from my site. There were good but this is the law.

Arrived my sister from vacations from Turkey. She says she saw the exact copy of me between tourists. (Wow!). Some years ago I saw the exact copy of myself in Moscow Subway. Nature is redundant. I hope at least one of us will be lucky in this world. To say true, I'm afraid of it and excited, - so many copies of so unique person. (In his days my father won bets by showing pic. People were ready to bet it was his and then he showed that this pic was from one American journal). Mind you I talk about 100% identity, not just about trifle similarity, cool, isn't it?

13.August.99 

Wow, I turned on TV-set at 8 PM (!) They showed on one of channels sexual intercourse! It was long, (longer then 3 minutes), open, (their bodies were naked and visible), they used different poses and sometimes their frictions were fast. 

It wouldn't surprise me, (all things I can imagine), but at Eight PM on ordinary TV-channel! - Coool! 

3.August.99 Mad Day. 

Today I climbed out of my den and was in town. Saw about SIXTEEN dazingly beautiful girls, (or even more). Three of them were like twins. I saw them in one Moscow area with interval 15-20 minutes one after other. They were long legged, with long fairy hair, with black jackets and in short dark skirts. Features were also beautiful and the same. I would marry every third girl in the streets this mad day. 

I gave 200 rubles to shop girl for chocolate instead of 20. If she didn't look at bank notes so long I even wouldn't notice my blunder. 

One pretty girl came to me in Subway and stood opposite me, one girl inadvertently touched me standing near, one girl stood near me (right under my nose), then looked at her fingers and strolled out and one girl coming out of carriage long looked at me rubbed musingly her nose. 

When I came out of subway one girl tried to push on me leaflet. I sank my head and passed away. Then came in to shop and bought parfume to my old acquaintance. (It seemed half of girls I saw in subway, followed me into this shop). When I came out, I had a time to take a glance on girl, who tried to distribute ad leaflets. She tried really hard and most of people refused to take them. I came near her. She was too plunged in dealing so I should go right in front of her and say: "Give". (I don't know how it sounds in English, in Russian it sounds horrible). She marked me, we smiled each other and she stretched to me her hand with leaflet. I took it with easy heart. My Good Dead of a Day was done.

26.July.99 Enemy. 

Last month I talked much about capitalism and present condition of society. People said me: "We like capitalism". Today I finished to read Ibsen's play, so if you want you can call me An Enemy of The People.

16.July.99 Dangerous. 

My dad said me that my car-driving manner became risking (probably after present heat). I noticed soundness of his remark and supposed my quitting from car-driving practice. 

Unknown disastrous infection leaving people dead or mental wrecks appeared in Rostov. 

Some cranky preachers asked to forgive former "heathens" all vice made by Christians to them in Crusade-time. 

Saw new employee. I like that girl. I feel I ought to do something good to her. She is just the right sort.

19.June.99 It conveys ...

One day I saw well-known actor Zeldin representing young talented actors from his theatre. He was with dazzlingly beautiful and kind girl, who appeared to be leading actress. I thought: what a man should be to marry such person. 

This weekend we celebrated cousin's birthday in country. There I met one actor, very amiable fellow. The cinch is he hasn't his own flat and he isn't rich, (working at theatre, in TV-ads and doing other odd work). And he happened to be her husband. Wow!

18.June.99 She was in top, (T-shirt with open tummy), and in pass-round model skirt, (I mean she - my old acquaintance). Wow! 

1.June.99 *** Today was one of the best days in my life. *** 

31.May.99 Squashed. On Sunday's night many people in Minsk were squashed in throng jam. I can say only two things: 

  1. It was said on TV: "There is the most bloody accident in Minsk since World War Two" - This is incorrect. There was a plant explosion with more than 400 victims. (I wonder was this hushing made on purpose or it's just ordinary ignorance?)
  2. That people in the mob wasn't unordinary ignorant or cruel, they were just ordinary people and they killed themselves in dozens. Bulls can move in big masses but human beings could be clever and kinder but their nature is more ignorant than nature of more primitive animals - they can't make progress peacefully without squashing and torturing themselves. People, mind you, next jam could be fatal to the whole system.

Just don't understand how anyone can have interrogation with man wanted for trial. 

Hands on Kremlin chiming clock will be removed for refurbishing at least for half year.

Just want to say a few words about incident, which was undeservedly unheeded. Do you know that one Russian candidate in The Hague's judges was killed in car crash?

Was in the Institute, saw my photo on stand and one guy with whom I worked there three years ago. I begged him and he scanned it. Now I am shaved, (first time for last three years) and the difference could be seen even by ignoramus. (Sometime I am forgetting about my new ugliness and sometimes I am painfully conscious about it). 

That "Fox-Girl" began to talk with me, first time in last three years counting from that moment when I saw her first time. She asked me: "How are you?" I answered her but I am sure she marked how I tried to escape from her presence next few minutes. I hate girls when they don't care about me and I hate them when they pay me attention. (She is practically millionaire and she is married. And she is the girl to which I would marry in no time. How she dared to ask me "How are you?" !)

Have seen crazily pretty girl. She was blond, all of her was perfect, - really all. And she was sexy too. It's so rarity to be very beautiful and to be very sexy. Her shirt plainly talked about her nipples but it was her face what amazed me most. I haven't seen yet so beautiful blondes in my life. 

Have seen another girl. She was good. She scattered coins under my feet and I helped to pick it up. In that moment I missed ideal cause for trying to make acquaintance with her. 

By the way my old acquaintance said me today she is a real profi in talking by mobile phone less than six seconds, (when you don't pay for it). So you see I presented it to her on 20.May. 

17.May. Tomorrow? 

Finished with Margaret Ogilvy by J M Barrie. It's a pity we haven't all good English books in Russia and to buy it abroad too expensive. 

My nedstat forecaster predicted me 39 visitors tomorrow. Could machine be mad? 

Rung up to my old acquaintance. She answered on my question that she forgot the restaurant where we dined last time half year ago. What can I say about women nature after it?

16.May. How to stop to contemplate? 

Watching TV advertising clip of Badedas. It's a rare opportunity to see naked girl every half an hour. Last such good experience was advertising of Sony's technology Stamina. There was girl with figure what I like on the beach. 

Watched on TV story of marriage of girl who was a pippin in my boyhood days. Movie was called "Guest from the Future". She, (and her husband), had really good love story. 

My ma again said that we all our lifetime ought to do what we ought and I again said that I will do only what I like.

14.May. People are strange (and have their own ways). 

Today I paid for Internet. Provider's dealer happened to be a "Computer Club". It was a real den. All walls near stairs were with graphity, room was full with ~12 years old boys. On the dais supervisor-guy sat. His seat was encircled with supervision monitors. It was strange mixture of "teen spirit" and high-tech, recklessness and business. I was first time in place of such sort. 

Listened TV telecast "Day after day". I didn't hear the beginning of the story but I propose my viewing of it: It was story about son of Persian Sheikh. He has got education in prestigious London Varsity. His family has all the money, his brother are married on one of Hollywood celebrities. Graduating he was destined to bank service but was bored with it and took tourneys all around the world. One day he was in Moscow. It impressed him in so favorable way that he stayed to live in it. He says it was our girls, which took his fancy.

12.May. Time twisted all its legs. 

Premier Minister of Russia was fired. I am expecting the second firing into Duma and last trumpets. 

Listened radio in Walkman. Radio jockey said: "Girls mark you, today many Italians and Frenchmen are coming to Moscow." 

Have seen gangsters. They alighted from car and one of them fitted a gun in his belt under thick gray sweater. Both of them mocked and seemed considerably pleased by something. 

It snowed today. Big soft and whitest snowflakes danced in quietness against background of mellow young verdure. 

-         Beautiful?

-         Mm, dunno, but surely stylish.
