Who We Are

A writers' club started in Cass County of Indiana, now in its fifth year, started the Writers' Voice web site in November 1998; the members' dream was to have a web site where writers could publish their original works without the numerous hassles that exist in today's publishing world. An added dimension of the the site also was to provide a Critique Page so writers could learn from other writer's reviews.
The club is undergoing a huge change, recently adding a Writers' Voice club at the local high school and junior high. The number of members is expected to at least double, and more importantly, provide a creative writing avenue for more teenagers.
Many of the adults who critique submissions are not even writers but are simply avid readers who enjoy good literature and are looking forward to reading articles from others who view writing not as a professional necessarily, but just a great pasttime.
