Peace

I found the peace
That I have once looked for
Searching through the pain and tears that ceased
When I found the open door

Having feelings of fear and distress
Now seeing my heart and not only my eyes
Sharing fun and excitement with friends that put my soul at rest
I'm feeling complete and no longer living lies

I have learned now to walk that long hard tunnel
To find the strength that will lead to the light at the end
Experiencing total love and never hiding behind any evil
I now know the peace closer down the bend

My heart is now a whole
My mind is finally at ease
Living with laughter escaping the dull
For now I have finally found peace
