Osipov Sergei Ivanovich
(1915-1985)

Was born 22 September 1915 in the village of Stepankovo, Tver Region.
In 1943 S. Osipov graduated from the I. Repin Institute in the A. OSMERKIN workshop.
Since 1945 he has participated in Art exhibitions.
The member of the LCRAU since 1945.
Painted  landscape, views of ancient Russian towns, still life, genre scenes and subject pictures.
Personal exhibitions in Moscow (1983) and Leningrad (1990).
Paintings by Sergei OSIPOV are in State Russian Museum, State Tretyakov Gallery, in Art museums
and private collections in the Russia and throughout the world.
