MINA:
MiNA was born in en Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1974. She studied at National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón, earning a degree in painting. Attended several workshops and conferences with the following artists/professors: Daniel Acosta, Teresa Volco, Isabel Merellano, Salvador Constanzo, Horacio D’Alessandro, Graciela Marotta, Juan Carlos Romero amongst others. During 1996 she worked as assistant professor at Daniel Acosta‘s studio and as assistant for professor Salvador Constanzo in the course Drawing I at National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyyredon.
In the same year she was awarded with the 1996 National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredon Studio Fellowship at the studio of artist and professor Hector Medici.

Since 1993 she experimented with different disciplines, including Contac Improvisation and other theater and dance techniques.
Mina’s work is mostly focused in the issues of identity amongst different cultural groups. She works with digital prints, mixed media paintings and objects, mail art, performances and small installations.
She traveled extensively in Central America( she worked and resided for more than two years in Guatemala), Africa, Eastern Europe (she worked and resided in Kosovo) and the Middle East. Currently living in Zimbabwe.
