This document is being written, very simply, as a response to an attitude that seems to be rising in western society, particularly American society. This attitude is characterised by an enmity towards people who break away from so-called 'normal' society, as defined by our self-appointed guardians of public decency. Too often, at many levels of society, decent caring intelligent people are pigeonholed by what they wear, how they look, the music they listen to. We as a society have failed to listen to the lessons of the past regarding treatment of those we consider to be outsiders.
This is an issue I will try to expand upon at various points, so I will build this part of my website page by page, starting with this index and expanding.
