S e r e n i t y


Two souls
lost and lonely

facing vulnerability together--

It's in the Seeing
that they become aware
of each other's presence.
Side by side
they search for a safe place
to Be.
A place where
there is acceptance;
where they can be who they
are and grow;
step by timid step
holding onto what they see in each other
listening to what they hear in their hearts
what they know
and
what they have yet to discover.
letting go of the mystery;
the darkness,
learning not to be Afraid.

It is in this Learning that they
begin to Love.
