Lady Intricate's Explanation

Antediluvian
By Jeffrey K. Bedrick

" Every Night and every Morn
Some to Misery are born.
Every Morn and every Night
Some are born to Sweet Delight,
Some are born to Endless Night.
- - - -Agatha Christie"

I'm called Jessica Riggs Kleckner, but you may know me as Lady Intricate, Iris Red, or by one of my other many names. I enjoy roleplaying and my husband just happens to be a GM (if you don't know what I mean by GM then you must not roleplay).

Before I get into just who I really am, I'd like to get one thing off my chest.  Roleplaying has nothing to do with devil worship and everything to do with having fun.  It serves the same purpose as watching TV for other people, only it allows people to actually use their imagination!  I don't know anyone who wouldn't like to occasionally escape from the world of the 21st century with all of it's stress, crime, pollution, and noise.  Well, that's exactly what I do when I sing a battle song as a wandering bard, or fall in love in a dragon's lair (hopefully not with the dragon, though) in a role playing game. Glad I could vent on that pet peeve.

I turned 20 in June. I’m a psychology major, and eventually a psychologist with my own practice. I love art (especially Jeffrey K. Bedrick and Waterhouse), music, magick, adventure, and travel, so don't be surprised to find some of all of them on my pages. My wonderful husband, Jim, got me PhotoShop last Christmas and I now quite proudly dabble in web graphics. I designed all these pages myself ( "Thank you! Thank you!")

My husband is truly my soul mate and we're an incredibly amusing couple for others to watch. We are much too cute for even our own tastes, but I guess that's what love does to you. Our first and only child, Brianna, is now 17 months old and is just starting to get into the terrible 2s. She is adorable but sometimes a little trying. She is truly an ever growing miracle to us.

Religion is definetly a question I feel I should broach. I'm a Christian Druid, and proud to one of the few. I feel that life is truly sacred and beautiful. I'm not a witch (although I think wicca and all other religions are valid), but I do dance in the forest and mix potions. Well ok, so I dance because I feel the beauty of life, the green, lush earth all around me, and I can't help but dance with joy.  And I mix "potions" that are really a concoction of different soothing herbal teas, but I thought I'd let you keep you're stereotypes a bit longer anyway.

Do you wonder why I have so many references to dragons on my pages? For many reasons, but mostly because I think they are fascinating creatures that inspire a feeling of adventure in people, especially me. I also often feel the way that dragons have been portrayed throughout history: I'm somewhat reclusive, have my own little hoard of treasures, very protective of those I love, fierce in love and hate, and I sometimes sleep for long periods of time (even when I should be up at 7AM for work…oops).

In case you haven't noticed, I'm an extreme eclectic as well as romantic, and I show it. I wanted to share some of my interests with you, hopefully, although my sharing technique is extremely random, you'll find something of interest in my pages.

Please enjoy and take your time, you never know what you'll find here! Please go to my mainpage, the Lair when you get a chance. I think you'll really like it.

"Please return often, soon there will be more pics and links."

If I have seen farther than others,
it is because I was standing on the shoulders of giants

- Sir Isaac Newton

Threshold of Light
by Jeffrey K. Bedrick
For this is Wisdom; to love, to live
To take what fate, or the Gods may give.
To ask no question, to make no prayer,
To kiss the lips and caress the hair,
Speed passion's ebb as you greet its flow
To have, - to hold - and - in time, - let go!
- - - -Laurence Hope
