Season's Greetings, Fonters. Since I'm signing in at this in-between time, let me say I hope you all had a good Christmas, and good luck bringing Font into 2000. While I'm on the subject, it occurs to me that the issue designation system we used in '95 was not Y2K compliant. Short-sighted, yes, but who knew a mag that started with 40 glossy pages, alternating dingbats, and a 4-color cover would last five years? F nt turns five in February. "Holy History Lessons, Batman!"

I can't get over how wonderful this web page is, I mean, links to Irving pages? Wow. I feel misty eyed. And I have a feeling that someone named Chrissy chose the author of this month. Am I right? Great job guys. Keep it up.

First things first, hi everybody, for those who remember me. If not, I was an almost-founding member of this proud magaine, a writer of fluff with some serious and sci-fi stuff just as I began to drift from it. I'm glad to see that things are moving for ard. Dig the site. I'll stay tuned.

A very promising page. To those who were there for S95, F95(what?), and S96: Bring it in. To those on Font now: Best wishes. P.S. "Where's it from, South Africa?"

Impressive? This goes beyond impressive. I am speechless... my heart, it has been done good. This is the first Matt ed-in-chief ('96-'97), by the by, for those of you wondering. Once I figure out this enormous campus, I will play the ambassador and se if I can get you guys communicating. Anyone wants to play tag, my e-mail address is there for the taking. Oh, and may I say, April's poetry rocks. S98 looks formidable.

Say, nice place you got here! Excellent, J and M. I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next author of the month! Who will it be? And will we see reviews of the great man/woman's work? Hee hee. Seriously, you've accomplished much in a small slice of time. Keep it up. And don't list my old stories because I know where you both live.

I think the overall improvement of the magazine lies in whether we can decorate it with but many twinkies and cupcakes without revealing too much of a sugary coating.

Not bad, a little austere, but a good start in general. Post more Hofstra writing! Trevor, I like the colors!

A good start Matthew! But black background with the dark green text makes reading more difficult than it should be. ----Trevor

Matt: Its a good page. Try changing the background. Green and black are tough to read. Can you attach this to the hofstra web page?
