Damon Albarn was born in East End,London on March 23,1968.
GROWING UP: His parents,Keith and Hazel Albarn,are both artists and hippies.He has younger sister named Jessica who is also an artist. When Damon was 10 years old his family moved to Colchester,Essex. He was always very interested in acting and classical music .He started playing the violin at the age of 12,and also plays the piano. When Damon was 13 he met Graham Coxon.He and Graham became very good friends. After finishing comprehensive school Damon moved back to London to go drama scool.After a year he decided he was the worst actor on earth,so he became a tea-boy at the Beat Factory. He then played in a band called Circus together with Graham and some other guys.When 'the other guys' left, Damon and Graham asked Dave Rowntree and Alex James to join and the band changed name to Seymour.
TODAY: Damon is now living together with Justine Frischmann (from Elastica) and their two cats in Notting Hill,London.
