Its Kevlar-reinforced thermo- plastic construction resists abrasion and deterioration. Hurst Jaws of Life systems are designed with a nominal operating pressure of 5,000 psi (345 bar) to ensure maximum safety and long service life for all system components. All tools feature a shear seal-type control valve with "deadman" release for safe, positive operation.
