Rita has just finished recording two of the tracks to be on the Just Rita tape. "Rita In Heat" and "Polaris", a cover of the Lycia song. Here is what Rita says about the recording:

Well, Rita In Heat was a lot of fun, except for when my backup singers asked for more money. I told them to eat shit.

Polaris was a party jam. I hope the people who originally recorded it are happy, because my version is sure better. Theirs sure needed work.

Rita's new album is titled:

It showcases her Deniece Williams-meets-Carol Channing vocals and her witty, literate lyrics. Besides being produced by Grandmaster Melle Mel, it features rap star Vanilla Ice and also UTFO on vocals and raps. Here is what Vanilla had to say about the CD:
