Ahhhh....

I was literally blown away by this stuff, this writing that my friend does, and finally showed to me (through email) He writes under the name Vakeir and damn, his words speak volumes, almost akin to Lord Byron and other Romantic-era poets. Read for yourself. To contact the man, email him at Vakeir@aol.com

How Honest ?

I have in my life's course and endeavours for the fulfillment of my hopes and dreams, often looked, many times in vane, for something honest
Searching and seeking for something in a pure form un-marred by the sharade that a deer is often forced to take on and possessing the allurement of simplicities charm
At times truthful is mistaken for honest leaving us with blunt but not honesty in any form credibility seems to be favored over honesty and we are presented with a beautiful surface
covering up a horrid inner despite this conditioning, you make claims to be honest knowing full well my stance on the subject
Honest? How so? what do you do in your life to merrit calling yourself honest?
Honesty is the rarest of human conditionsand even when honesty does exist it, much like love,is conditional;subject to desire and indulgence of the moment honesty,much like love,is subject to decay;
for desire and indulgence often change through the maturation of one's life Does pure honesty exist?
much like love, honesty does exist in a true form untainted by the perceptions of the world though, there is a cautionary word for one to heed Both pure honesty and pure love appear only once in one's life,
for only once does one truly love and only once wilt one find someone for whom honesty is unconditional
if that one moment of pure honesty and pure love is forsaken, then in turn abolished,
it is probable that said honesty or love may never be obtained
Now, I ask of you yet again
and for the final time,
how are you honest?

Peering through the windshield
struggling to focus on what lays ahead
two dreamers losing sight
a lone car riding this road to-night
Head lights shine upon the stone
and tell of jacked knifed trucks and cars that spun off the road
two dreamers venturing far from home
two dreamers riding on the road to-night
Tension builds and ascends like a serpant's rise
he strikes fire, in-hales the leaves and begins to shout
she spills a tear and throws her head into her lap
two dreamers drifting further from each other on this road to-night
From the northern country and into the southern sky
two dreamers fell from destiny's armsand lost all sight
a lone car spun off the road to-night
