Sometimes we walk through our lives wondering if it is even worth living. Occasionaly we have to put our faith in to something we can't see, and it is then that we stumble. Whether it be some long forgotten God or the complex emotion of love. I've stumbled many times but I walk on. Each one of us must learn to continue and turn those stumbling blocks into stepping stones.
By now your probably wondering what kind of person sits here and philosophizes about such things, so I'll begin telling you a little about myself. Question is where do I start?
My real name is Michelle, but most of my friends call me Moriana.
The name is derived from an old family legend.(Don't ask it's a long story.)The last name Ravenwing became mine when I married my husband Johnathan Ravenwing. My childhood Cherokee name was Raindancer. Which I have a poem dedicated to the explanation for that. Although you may not be able to tell by the picture I'm half Native American and half Celtic Irish. And to me honor is everything. I'm very proud of my heritage.
Personality, hmmmm do I even have one. Oh you mean what do others think of me. Well, I am not a recluse. I do have a lot of friends. I am a social person, but I have my times when I shy away from attention. If you've read any of my poetry yet, you've probably come to the conclusion that I'm morbid. Don't worry I don't take offense. That is most people's initial reaction. My friends understand my writing more because they know the history of my past.(That's an even longer story).
I just moved to Illinois with my husband and our best friends Chris and Ginger.(Their engaged to be married.) Unfortunately they are making me stand in there wedding. I just went through a major period of adjustment in my life. I graduated from high school just this December in Merrillville, Indiana, and immediately went straight to college away from my friends and family. Getting away from the family was the plus side, but I didn't go back to ISU, because of my fiance. I'm making plans to go community college.
I just bought a new car, so I'm happy. And I'm almost 19. Yes.. I was born February 10,1980. Yes I know. I'm a young one. Oh well. Get over it. I'm presently majoring in Radio-TV-Film and Theatre. I one day hope to hope to act, direct, or produce in film or theatre. I know big dream. But hey, why should I stop dreaming. Anyways....I work for Genuine Prod. INC. I'm not off to too bad a start.
