100, oldest survivor of the 1912 Titanic luxury cruise liner tragedy in which the ship sank on its maiden voyage; her father died in the accident, but she, then aged 16, and her mother were rescued; she chronicled the experience in her autobiography, A Lifetime on the Titanic (1995); born October 27, 1896; died January 20 at a nursinghome in London, England of unreported causes.
