Catt's online nick is short for her middle name.
Catt was born on Christmas Eve of 1996. She was an early Christmas present for
her father and me. She had the highest medical scores of all the children born that
day, which is to say she was extremely healthy.
Catt enjoys playing with her sister and feeding the dogs her food. As for favorite
movies, they vary from day to day. She will watch whatever is on as long as it has
music. She loves to dance.
Catt's favorite toys are her Furbies and phones. No matter where she goes she
has to take one of her Furbies with her or she cries until she finally falls
asleep. She likes to talk on play phones, but when it comes to real phones with
someone on the other end she would rather hang up than talk. If no one is on the
other end she will babble into the phone while she is dialing out. Needless to
say the phone is constantly out of her reach.
Catt has recently started playing with the computer and has started to write
the alphabets. She knows her name and has started calling her sister "MyBelle"
as if that was her name.
She really enjoys playing school and having her sister teach her.
Things They Both Like To Do Together
I guess I am a lucky parent because my kids like to play together all the time.
They like to brush their teeth together and they both like to do it them selves.
That is the only hard part about being the Mommy. I usually tell them to let me
brush their teeth first and then they can finish when I am done. That only works
about 25% of the time. All other times I give them treats like apples or bananas
if they let me do it. That works every time. They both like fruits. They also
like me to clean out their ears and they both like to take baths together. I guess
it is more fun to have someone else there to help splash water all over the floor.
But kids will be kids so I am always suppervising them when it comes to doing any-
thing in the bathroom.
They both love the movie Mulan and can quote lines from the movie. For example,
every time their daddy or I say "Lizard" they will both say "Dragon not lizard,
I don't do that tongue thing." It's really cute, but the movie, needless to say,
is beginning to wear out fast.
As with all kids, they do have thier moments where they would much rather fight
than play, but the corner does wonders in that department. They both know that if
they can't get along then they need to stay away from each other or they get to
stand in the corner. Corners are a blessing in my house.
