The Tenth District Fire Department was the first company in charles county to have a Rescue Squad, we decide that a water rescue vehicle would serve the comunity better so we sold our squad to purchase a rescue boat. In 1995 we started thinking that the comunity had a need for both. We started to think of ways to get funding, and to shop for a rescue vehicle that would fit our needs. We found the above vehicle, and took delivery of it in 1997. Due to political reasons we have to call it a "rescue" even though it exedes squad standards.
