How Can I Join ICQ?
The Obadiah List was created so Christians around the world would have a place to find other Christians with whom to chat and fellowship. This list is specially made with ICQ users in mind. The list provides a way for anybody who comes to this site to visit the User's ICQ homepage and to page the User through e-mail.
The Obadiah List also provides a Prayer Closet for anyone to use. If you have a prayer request, simply go to the Prayer Closet and fill out the form at the bottom of the page.
Another feature the Obadiah List offers is a weekly Bible study. This study will usually be conducted by the ListServant but may be conducted by other members as well.
Being a member of the Obadiah List gives you the opportunity to meet Christians from all around the world. You will receive NO spam from us. We will not sell/barter/trade/or give your name to any other person or organization.
To join the Obadiah List you need a computer with the ICQ software successfully installed on it.
The Obadiah List was designed for Christians, however, anyone may join.
Anyone may join the Obadiah List by completing the form on the main page. After completing the form and clicking the "List Me" button you will be added as soon as possible.
If you can't submit your information via the form, you can still join the Obadiah List by completing and e-mailing the requested the information to botech@pacbell.net and you will be added as soon as possible after we receive it.
Obadiah Chat is an open forum, Christian chat room in which anyone may chat. Christians come here for fellowship and encouragement. There is a weekly Bible study held on Thursdays at 7:00 pm, Pacific time. Be forewarned, we will not tolerate vulgar or abusive language. Anybody using such language will receive only one warning after which they will be placed on Obadiah's "ignore" list and be reported to ICQ.
Obadiah Chat is a Christian chat room. That should say it all. These rules are set to make Obadiah Chat more enjoyable for the general populous. Above everything else we expect everybody to enjoy themselves.

Neither the Obadiah List, the Chat Room, nor the Bible Study are owned or operated by any denominational organization. If the ListServant determines she is unable to continue with this ministry,youwill find another ListServant listed on the home page, to pick up where she leaves off.
Yes, absolutely. All outlines will be available for download from the Bible Study Page. All previous Bible study outlines will also be available, upon request, for download or through e-mail.
I never thought I'd have to put this in here, but here it is. These are a few of the basics and possibly the more important. They are not necessarily in any specific order.
- We are all to conduct ourselves as Christians.
- During the Bible study (Thursday, 7:00pm (Pacific time), the only discussion is to be on the Bible study itself. There will be no personal chatting (other than welcoming a new arrival).
- The Bible study leader is the leader of the chat room during that period of time. All visitors to the room must obey him/her.
No problem. If you're wanting to download a Bible study outline I recommend you create a folder to which to download it. Once you have done that go to the Bible Study Page and click on the word "Download" next to the file you wish to download. A message window will pop up. Follow the directions to save the file to the folder you created. If you have any questions please feel free to message me and I will walk you through it. My ICQ# 14681357 (ObadiahChat).
