After spending five years in and out of the make-up chair at OLTL, Gina Tognoni (Kelly) has learned a thing or two about skincare. In fact, all that heavy TV make-up means she must stick to a serious after-work beauty routine.

So once the cameras stop rolling, “I have to get my skin cleansed,” says the actress. “I really need it after all of the products that they put on my face at work.”

After trying all sorts of skin treatments, Tognoni has found a line she swears by. “I’m a huge fan of Mario Badesceau,” she says of the New York-based skincare company and spa.

And though Badesceau products are favoried by the likes of Cher, Jennifer Aniston and Meryl Streep, any mere mortal can give them a try. “The products are not that expensive,” Tognoni says. “I love them!” -from Soaps In Depth

As the eccentric, slightly off-beat Kelly Cramer, television newcomer Gina Tognoni portrays a young woman of passion and spirit, trying to rekindle her relationship with ex-love Joey Buchanan. Gina's performance captivated viewers so quickly that she was nominated for a 1996 Soap Opera Award as Outstanding Female Newcomer. Gina was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Syracuse, New York and Bristol, Rhode Island. A former beauty pageant participant, Gina was named Miss Rhode Island Teen USA in 1992.

She went on to compete in the Miss Teen USA Pageant, where she placed in the top 12 in the country and won the title of Miss Photogenic. After winning Miss Rhode Island Teen All-American in 1993, Gina was first runner-up in the Miss Teen All-American Pageant. Gina had just moved to California to begin auditioning when she received a casting call for the role of Kelly Cramer. This is the first professional role of Gina's career. When not working, Gina enjoys horseback riding, skiing, and songwriting. -from ABC Daytime
