1. CHARLES THOMAS "Carl" GORSALITZ: Born 23 Jan 1856, Prussia,
    Germany, died 9 Apr 1936, Ethel, Ont.  (Grey Twp., Huron Co.,
    Ont).  Never married.
    Buried Cranbrook, Ont.  (Now part of Ethel, Ont).

    In the 1881 census of Milverton, Ont., he is listed as age 23 years
    and working as a labourer.

    Due to Rheumatoid Arthritis, his health deteriorated, and at the time
    of his death, he was bent over so bad that his chin touched his
    knees. When he wanted to get around, he did so on his hands and
    knees. He always sat on a wooden stool that was just 24 inches
    high. 

2. WILHELMINA "Minnie" GORSALITZ: Born 1859, Prussia, Germany,
    died 1933, Heidelberg, Ont. She married 3 times. (1) Name
    Unknown. (2) Mr. Deirbecker. (3) Henry Frickey, born 1836, died
    1909.
    Both buried Erbsville, Ont.
    They had 3 children. Alvin, Clarence and Henry.

    Henry Frickey was a widower with 4 children. 

    Alvin Frickey lived in Rochester, N.Y. He was in business with his
    half brother Charles Trow.

    Clarence Frickey: 1 mar 1896-9 Feb 1915.

    Henry Frickey: 9 Aug 1899-16 Oct 1918.

    Minnie had a child out of wedlock, named Charles Trow, whom she
    raised. He later married and moved to Rochester, N.Y. where he
    went into business with his half brother Alvin Frickey.

3. FREDERICK GORSALITZ: Born 31 May 1864, Prussia, Germany,
    died 24 Apr 1946, Humboldt, Sask. On the 11 Dec 1895 in Neepawa,
    Man., he married Lea Catherine ROTH, born 5 Jul 1874, St. Dizier,
    France, died 12 Dec 1906.
    They had 6 children. John, Charles, Phillip, Frederick,  Adeline and
    Minnie.

    died 7 Feb 1965. He married Annie Neabel, born 14 Feb 1872, died
    14 Jun 1929.
    Both buried Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel, Ont.
    They had 2 children. Oscar and Edith.

        (1) OSCAR JOHN GORSALITZ: Born 18 Feb 1900, died 31 Jul
             1977, Saginaw, Mich. In 1924, he married Marie Schallborn,
              born 4 Nov 1903, died 25 Aug 1945, Flint, Mich.
             Both buried Sunset Hills Cemetery, Fling, Mich.
             They had 4 children. Delmar, Richard, Marian and Arlene.

             Oscar re-married Edna (Root) Darnell, born 24 Feb 1904,
             died 13 Dec 1974.
             

         (2) EDITH ANNE GORSALITZ: Born 3 Jun 1909. On the 9 Jan
              1934, she married Frederick Oliver Hayden, born 2 Dec
              1903, died 2 Nov 1987.
              Frederick buried Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel, Ont.
              They had 4 children. Mauna, Montrena, Bruce and Sandra.

2. WILLIAM C. GORSALITZ: Born 1873, Wellesley, Ont., died 1949.
    He married Isobella Armstrong, born 27 Oct 1879, died 18 Jan
    1954.
    Both buried Ethel, Ont.
    They had no children.

3. EMMA GORSALITZ: Born 1876, Milverton, Ont., died 30 Dec 1931,
    Buffalo, N.Y. She married Anthony Beimler.
    Both buried Mt. Hope Cemetery, Buffalo, N.Y.
    They had 7 children. Gertrude, Edna, Florence, Norman, Norine,
    Esther and Theodore.

         (1) GERTRUDE BEIMLER: Born 10 Nov 1893, died 22 Jan 1957.
              On the 15 Sep 1926, she married George Edward
              Hagelberger, born 1891, died 20 Mar 1953.
              Both buried Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, N.Y.
              They had 2 children. Donna and Ruth.

         (2) EDNA ANN HENRIETTA BEIMLER: Born 25 Nov 1895, died
              23 Feb 1985. On the 6 Jun 1916, she married William
              Gerlach, who died in 1920.
              Edna buried Mt. Hope Cemetery, Buffalo, N.Y.
              They had 2 children. Norman and Jean.

              Edna re-married 21 Nov 1921 to Clarence Edward Paufler,
              born 10 Nov 1898, died 6 Sep 1951.

         (5) NORINE A. BEIMLER: Born 3 May 1902, died 15 May 1966.
              She married Johannes C. Gerlach, born 11 Apr 1898, died
              5 Jan 1964.
              They had 2 children. Frederick and Irving.

         (6) ESTHER IDA BEIMLER: She married Anthony Dinicoloantino.

              She re-married Karl Marschke, who died in 1985.
              No children by either marriage.

         (7) THEODORE BEIMLER: Born 1915. He married Margaretta ?.
              They had 6 children. Gary, Terry, Pamela, Deborah, Daryl
              and Margarite.

   
4. HENRY C. GORSALITZ: Born 25 Jul 1879, Milverton, Ont., died
    31 Dec 1956. He married Ethel MacInnes, born 1887, died 1978.
    Both buried Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel, Ont.
    They had no children.

5. IDA GORSALITZ: Born 1880, Milverton, Ont., died 1944, Buffalo,
    N.Y. She married Frank Pabst.
    Both buried Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, N.Y.
    They had 1 child. Grace.

    5 Sep 1952. On the 12 Sep 1907, she married Edward Collis, born
    5 Feb 1885, died 1 Apr 1950.

    They had 3 children. Lillie, Elmer and Mildred.

        (1) LILLIE COLLIS: Born 10 Nov 1907, died 10 Dec 1964. She
             married Melvin Carnochan, born 28 May 1907, died 12 Oct
             1984.

             They had no children.

             Melvin re-married 2 more times, but to whom is not known.

        (2) ELMER COLLIS: Born 26 Nov 1908, died 10 Dec 1976. On
             the 23 Apr 1930, he married Sylvia Thompson born 1911,
             died 26 Jun 1965.
             Both buried Elma Centre Cemetery, Henfryn, Ont.
             They had 1 child. William (1930-1990).  Never married.

        (3) MILDRED COLLIS: Born 1 Apr 1914. She married Stanley
             Hamilton, born 4 May 1892, died 25 Jun 1948.
