8. SARAH HELPS: Eighth child born to Henry Helps and Mary Rawlings.
    Born 1847, died 22 Feb 1929. On the 8 Feb 1870, she married Thomas Brydges, born 30 Dec 1846,
    died 1 May 1918. (s/o Robert Brydges and Mary ?).
    Both buried Wyoming, Ont.
    They had 5 children. Robert, Mary, Walter & Edward (Twins) and Thomas.

     1901 Plympton Twp., census states Sarah born 20 Mar 1850.

1. ROBERT H. BRYDGES: Born 10 Jun 1872.

    In 1924 he was farming Lot 11 Con 4 Plympton, Twp.

2. MARY ELIZABETH BRYDGES: Born 1877, died 1947. She married Thomas Blunden, born
    31 Dec 1865, died 1937.
    Both buried Wyoming, Ont.
    They had no children.

    1901 Census show Mary born 20 Apr 1879.

3. WALTER LEWIS BRYDGES: Born 1882, died 2 Jun 1968. On the 21 Nov 1906, he married Sarah  
     Elizabeth Helps, born 1890, died 8 Oct 1934. (d/o Samuel Helps and Hannah Marie
    Cable). (Samuel..s/o John Helps and Sarah (Barker) Brydges).
    Both buried Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia, Ont.
    They had 13 children. Mary, Leslie, Violet, Evelyn, Walter,   Clifford, Lewis, Robert, Nelson, Doris,
    Dorthea, Lucille and Burton.

    1901 census show's Walter born 10 Oct 1886, TWIN of Edward.

    Walter died aged 85 years, thus born 1883.

    Walter re-married Charlotte Morrow. In 1918, he lived in Port Huron, Mich.

          (1) MARY FLORENCE BRYDGES: Born 11 Sep 1907. In Jun 1929, she married Ruel Boynton.
               They lived in Pontiac, Mich.

          (2) LESLIE THOMAS BRYDGES: Born 12 May 1909, died 19 Aug 1917.

          (3) VIOLET EDNA BRYDGES: Born 11 May 1910. She married Clifford Kadey.

          (4) EVELYN FLOSSIE BRYDGES: Born 24 Apr 1912.  She married Donald McIntyre.

          (5) WALTER GEORGE BRYDGES: Born 28 Nov 1913.  He married Marjorie Brown.
               In 1968, lived in Davisburg, Mich.

          (6) CLIFFORD JOHN BRYDGES: Born 21 Apr 1915, died 26 Jul 1987 at Wixom, Mich. He
                married Hazel Young.
               Buried Springfield Cemetery, Fargo, Mich. (?).
               They had 4 children. George, Lois, Richard and Lora.

          (7) LEWIS CECIL BRYDGES: Born 21 May 1916. He married Irene Ripley.
               Lived in London, Ont.

          (8) ROBERT WILLIAM BRYDGES: Born 7 Aug 1918, died 7 Jun 1944, France. He married
                Annie Winnifred McIntyre.
               They had 1 child. Audrey.

          (9) NELSON GARNET BRYDGES: Born 15 Jul 1920. He married Audrey Scott.
               They had 1 child. Bonnie.

         (10) DORIS LUELLA BRYDGES: Born 11 Nov 1921. On the  the 30 Dec 1939, she married
                Jackson Allen Goodall, born 1915, died 12 Jul 1987. (s/o Percy Goodall and Christine ?).
                Jackson buried Grandview Gardens, Sarnia, Ont.
                They had 8 children. Diane, Sandra, Larry, Robert, Randy, Gregory, Bradley and Cameron.

         (11) DORTHEA LILLIAN BRYDGES: Born 12 May 1923, died died 24 May 1923.

         (12) LUCILLE ELIZABETH BRYDGES: Born 24 Sep 1924.  She married John Keck.

         (13) BURTON RAYMOND BRYDGES: Born and died 29 Jul 1926.

4. EDWARD OWEN BRYDGES: Born 1895, died 23 Jan 1937. He married Helena Eady, born
    1898, died 1969. (d/o William Eady and Emeline Hopper).
    Both buried Wyoming, Ont.
    They had 11 children. Gertrude, Thomas & Baby (Twins), Harold, Norman, Florence, Shirley, Jean,
     Margaret, William and Keith.

    1901 census show's Edward born 10 Oct 1886..TWIN of Walter.

     Helena re-married John Brad.

          (1) GERTRUDE EMMA BRYDGES: Born 7 Oct 1918.  She married Howard James Wheeler,
                born 1906, died 1986.
               Howard buried Wyoming, Ont.
               They had 6 children. Evelyn, Shirley, William, John,  Lance and Ronald.

          (2) THOMAS EARL BRYDGES: (Twin). Born 13 Jul 1921, died 24 Aug 1921.

          (3) BABY BRYDGES: (Twin). Born and died 13 Jul 1921.

          (4) HAROLD CHARLES BRYDGES: Born 22 Jul 1922, died 1996. On the 6 Jan 1945,
               he married Katherine Frances Humphrey. (d/o Albert Humphrey and Vera Cann).
               They had 2 children. Sheila and Stephen.

          (5) NORMAN BRYDGES: Born 14 May 1924. On the 15 Sep 1945, he married Shirley Ilene
                Middleton.

          (6) FLORENCE VIOLET BRYDGES: Born and died 1 Aug 1929.

          (7) SHIRLEY MARIE BRYDGES: Born 1936, died 5 Apr 1937.
               Buried Wyoming, Ont.

          (8) JEAN MARY BRYDGES: Died 28 Dec 1978. She married Harold Olliphant.

          (9) MARGARET IRENE BRYDGES: On the 24 Feb 1945, she married Clayton Ernest Battle.
               They had 2 children. Leonard and Sharron.

         (10) WILLIAM LEE OWEN BRYDGES: Died 10 Jul 1970, Bellville, Ont. On the 7 Jun 1947,
                he married Melba Bishop.
                William buried Elmwood, Ont.

         (11) KEITH BRYDGES:  He married Marion Redden.
                They had 6 children. Linda, Eugene, Brian, Richard, Donna and Larry.

5. THOMAS BERTIE BRYDGES: Born 1889, died 23 Aug 1958. He married Elizabeth Beebe, born
    13 Jun 1899, died 11 Aug 1953.
    Both buried Wyoming, Ont.
    They had 12 children. Thomas, Frances, Alvin, Kathleen,  Arthur, Charles, Allen, James, Blanche,
     Eldon, John and Lorne.

    1901 census show's Thomas born 23 Aug 1890.

               Frances was electrocuted, when she came in contact with live high tension lines. 

          (3) ALVIN BERTIE BRYDGES: Born 20 Mar 1921. He married Peggy Gander.
               They had 2 children. Erin and Terry.

          (4) KATHLEEN PEARL BRYDGES: Born 11 Nov 1922, died 22 Dec 1977. She married Calvin
               Jackson, born 1912, died 24 Apr 1987.
               Both buried Wilksport, Ont.
               They had 5 children. Bruce, Edward, Mary, Wilfred and Calvin.

          (5) ARTHUR BEEBE BRYDGES: Born 4 Jun 1924. He married Helen Simpson.

               In 1977, lived Toronto, Ont.

          (6) CHARLES VINCENT BRYDGES: Born 14 Nov 1925, died  1989. In 1949, he married
                Pearl Anderson.
               Charles buried Grandview Gardens, Sarnia, Ont.
               They had 7 children. Helen, Larry, Rondla, Linda, Debra,  Gary and Robert.

          (7) ALLEN ROSS BRYDGES: Born 11 Oct 1927, died 1989.  He married Lois ?, born 1934.
               Allen buried Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia, Ont.
               They had 4 children. David, Karen, Kim and Wendy.

          (8) JAMES RALPH BRYDGES: Born 23 Aug 1928, died 22 May 1982.

          (9) BLANCHE ELIZABETH BRYDGES: Born 12 Apr 1931. She married Norman Wilson.

         (10) ELDON WESLEY BRYDGES: Born 29 Jan 1933,  died 12 Jun 1991. He married Shirley
                Joanne Rawlings.
                Eldon buried Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia, Ont.
                They had 3 children. Penny, Paul and Perry.

         (11) JOHN DALTON BRYDGES: Born 1936, died 15 Apr 1995. He married Joan Wilkinson.
                They had 2 children. Rebecca and Robert.

         (12) LORNE ELMER BRYDGES: Born 13 Mar 1939.
