The Webster's Dictionary defines a goal as "The end toward which effort is directed." A resolution is defined as "The act of answering or fixing." Therefore, you can not reach your goal without resolving the problem. For example, the hour hand on a clock can not reach its goal of 1:00 before stopping at 12:00 first.
Many people plan to resolve to do something small, something they can live without doing. A goal is different. People think of a goal as something somewhat more important than a New Year's resolution. People tend to really strive for a goal, but as for a resolution, most people forget theirs by March or even February. If you believe that your resolution is truly your goal, don't let this tragedy happen to you. In other words, you must call your resolution your goal.
Some goals may seem small, but they are actually very large and difficult. If your goal is important to you, write it down. Keep a weekly journal of what you did each week to achieve your goal. GOOD LUCK!!
