I Think We're All Bozos on this Bus!
We find ourselves at the end time of our reign on Mother Earth. We have
unwittingly blown our potential of being truly noble; due to our preoccupation with
our massive forebrain and it's delusional belief in complete autonomy, and our
societal devotion to god consumerism, one of Creation's more elaborate
experiments in self-recognition and appreciation is in decline. Our awesome technology has allowed our numbers to grow to the edge of disastrous famine and disease. More
people are alive and breathing right now than have ever lived before; within fifty years, given the resources, the
number will double! Because we WILL NOT control our population, it will be horribly and nightmarishly done for us. It is so amazing to me that we are so technologically clever, yet we cannot see the inevitable disaster we are
bringing upon ourselves. We had the chance to fulfill our noble potential in the tradition of great civilizations past
and live as gods on what was the jewel of our galactic neighborhood; pity, isn't it? Can we turn it around? Can we become aware enough, quickly enough to reroute our destiny, can we suddenly quit
procreating? No. It won't be us that inherits paradise, we believed other things were of more importance: money,
power, status, fear of our brothers. It's a done deal- have fun while you can, do the right thing, and know that you will
soon be gone and forgotten; and perhaps a few of our mutated and poisoned descendants will someday try
again.......
Trouble comin'...
