DOESN'T GOD KNOW?

Through prayer,
you ask God for things you need.
But why must you do this?
He already knows all about you;
He knows what you need.
So why must you ask Him?
One reason is that it would make you very, very selfish if God always gave you good things without your even asking Him or thanking Him.
If you need something,
don't you think it is only right that you should ask God,
since He owns everything?
But most important,
by asking God for what you need you show that you believe His Word and are obeying Him.
Believing what God says pleases Him.

KEEP ASKING, SEEKING, KNOCKING

"Ask, and it will be given to you,
seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you.

"For everyone who asks receives,
and he who seeks finds,
and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Matthew 7:7-8
