'Ariel Eric and his brother Max'

Few worlds from the author.
This story was written about two years ago and it's never before
published.
Because of it's huge size I had to cut extra descriptions from it not
hurting the points of the story.Later I'll put 'em to their proper
place.Parts of the story was written in Russian originally.
Translations from Russian into English by Max Nikulin.
Note that some materia here can be sharp or intense so I rated it
16+
I'll put original prologue later.
Chapter 1
Just some miles from the shore there whas Underwater Kingdom
where all the merfolks lived in isolation from humans .
All exept Ariel -the youngest daughter of king Triton.
But you have heard the story you can tell me -No don't know
all the truth. Let's see....
In a castle there lived prince Eric.But you don't know all the people
around him.
Besides Grimsby Eric had pretty more people to trust and
to spend quality time with.But there was one young man Eric trusted most.
It was his brother Max.Max was the same age as Eric but he didn't want to rule-
he spent most of his time in his room which was next to Eric's.
He was artist,writer poet all in one.And whenever Eric needed some inspiration
he just visited his brother's room and he asked his brother to write or to paint
something for him.Even his dog -loyal Max-took his name after Eric's beloved
brother.
It was Erics birthday that day.All the servants hurried to and fro trying
to make castle shine in that day.
Grand Duke Max was sitting in his room trying to paint something-
Alas it was not a good day for this.
"Well I 'll see how can I do it this evening when I'm on the ship"
Suddenly he heard knocking on the door.
Come in!-- he called.
The door opened and James- Max's own servant and advisor came.
-The ship is ready ,sir.And prince Eric is already aboard.-James told.
Well,thank you James, I'll be there in just a moment.-Max went into his
sleeping room and took a parcel from the table.He checked if the ribbon was
straght enough and after putting it in his pocket he changed for the party
and left.
After arriving on the ship,Grand Duke came into his cabin and checked that
all the things he required were there."After all it's gonna be for all night-
Max thought-And maybe not even for one night "
Then he went to see Eric privately.
Oh Max-greeted him Eric-You already here!
Of course brother -grinned Max--Happy birthday!
Max gave his parcel.When Eric opened it his eyes sparkled.
Ohhh,amazing!-inside there was a golden music box with a figure of a mermaid
in the middle of it.The piece was shinin' and music was wonderful.
-Thank you brother-whispered Eric .After the hugs, Max exused himself and
prepared to leave .Eric stopped him
-By the way you was plannin' the painting these days is it finished?
-No,-Max bended his head -I'm planning to finish it by tomorrow.
-All right - grinned Eric -I'll check..Going in your room?
-Yep,until the main event ,see ya on the party soon!-Max smiled and
left for his cabin.
Grand Duke had a beautiful idea to paint a mermaid.
-But how thought he I don't know whom to use for the face and style.There
are many beautiful girls in the city but THIS picture called for someone
special.
-I gotta find someone ..-suddenly Max remembered a dream he had lately.
"He and Eric were walking toward the shore and suddenly they saw light ahead.
It was growing brighter and brighter until eyes sored.In this light Max saw
a figure of a girl in the distance.She began to sing ...But was she singing
to Grand Duke Max or to Pince Eric??" Suddenly Max woke up ...
That girl was a muse - told Max to himself .-I hope It was me she was singing
-he sighed..
End of 1st chapter
No one knew back then that two days before the main event two people were talking
on the shore in the shadows of a big tree.
First was a tall man - Eric's Prime Minister William. The second was Sea Witch
Ursula in disguise.
--Yes I summoned you - began William --Because the stone you wanted 'd be on the
ship which departs in two days on Prince's birthday.
--So,what's the plan?--the Witch asked.
--It's like this -you gonna make a huge storm right after the fireworks 'll begin
I'll make Eric to stay on this ship and as he wears it on the neck you'll
take it right from his stiff when he's down.
--That's right you moron --smiled Ursula.--Yet how can I be sure that ship
'll sink?
--I thought about it. I'll put enough powder there to blast ALL 'ROUND.
All I need it's time to escape myself.
--It's gonna be perfect!!!!! HA HA..-You 'll get the kingdom and I'll get
all the seven seas with this stone!!!!!....
All were in great danger as you can see. Yet ..
Grand Duke Max was walking toward his cabin as he heard a noise outside.
When he reached the upper deck he saw Prime minister William trying to
load the extra 10 barrels of powder.
--Why do we need those ? --required Max.
--Why, ..We need it for canons just in case..
--I wont allow it --insisted Max.
--Sorry master,but I have a RIGHT to care for this- I can persuade
Prinse Eric and his orders are more powerful the yours -MAKE WAY...-
William almost yellowed at Max.
--Hear me ! If you 'll speak THAT tone with me ever again you won't be
a Minister sir,And for acting like this in my brothers birthday-I wont
let you on the ship now!!Guards !! Take him away.--
--Oh sorry ,sir---William realized that he cannot stand against Erics brother
--Let me just enter..
--No! I'll see how you got THIS lesson--with that Max went to his cabin.
Meanwhile Ursula has everythin' prepared for the main event.
--See that my plan 'll work-- ordered William to his own men --And that
Neither Eric nor Max'd escape. For this you'll be my closest men when I'll
be king.
People were crowding near the ship.Grimsby and James went to the sun deck.
Eric was still in his cabin waiting for the departure.The day was sunny and clear.
Deep under the sea King Triton was worried.He called for his faithful servants
--What happened ,sir? -asked one of the mermen.
--I feel Ursula the Sea Witch is plannin' something. And I can feel it can
srike at us somehow.Please hurry and check her lair right now and get Sebastian
to come here.
--Yes ,sir!--the answer was.
Sebastian was busy prepairing for the concert.
--What you fellas need?? --the crab was displeased.
--King Triton wants to see you RIGHT NOW!!
--Da King ? But Why...? --and ol' Sebastian swam toward
the castle.
King Triton was swimming to and fro waiting for Sebastian.
--At last!! Come quick!--He cried as he saw Sebastian in the
throne room.
--You called me??-
--Yes ,I need to be sure that all my daughters are with you now.
--Well, almost all of dem are in de music room.
--Dont tell me you don't know where Ariel is right now !!!
--Hate to tell dat but you right --seeing anger in Triton's face
the crab corrected himself --Well, she did promised me to BE on the
concert -maybe .. she's on her way...
--Hear me Sebastian BUT DONT TELL ANYBODY!!!
You don't know all the details of Ursula's banishment I kept
that in the secret from all.Now listen to me very carefully...
