Well, it appears as though we've ended up in Jotunheim
instead of Midgard. I would be nervous if it were not for the fact I can
see Thor standing on that hill over yonder. As long as he's around the
giants will be occupied and we most likely will pass unnoticed.
Ahh, and now I see why the mighty Thor is here. If you
look directly across from him standing on that rocky crag is the giant
Krungnir (he rules over Rockyard and is one of the most feared of giant
warriors) as for that colossal beast standing beside him I'm at a loss.
He appears to be made of clay and the other giants about sound as though
they are chanting "Cloudcalf"? A truly remarkable sight though, it appears
to stand nine miles and one furlong high and at least three miles broad
under the armpits.
Look now! The fight begins, Thor has loosed his hammer
(Miolnir or mullicrusher) and it's heading straight for Krungnir's head.
This fight may be over before it has even begun for Miolnir never misses
it's mark. But wait! Krungnir has loosed a giant scythe-sharpener. Oh dear,
cover your ears and duck. The sound when they meet will be deafening. Meet
they did, did you see that? Krungnir's whetstone shattered like a clay
vessel and Miolnir continues on it's path unaltered.
Krungnir never stood a chance. Before he could move an
inch Miolnir found it's mark between his eyes. His head shattered like
his whetstone and he toppled like a tree struck by lightening. I have to
wonder if that "Cloudcalf" was supposed to be some kind of hero? If so
that was one very poor showing, it simply disintegrated into dust at the
sight of it's companions demise. Now come let us hurry out of here
while the giants are in disarray. Before the confusion ends and anger and
vengeance take over their minds.
