~Here are just a few of the poems I have gathered since I have been on the net. I know I don't have that many right now but I will add more as I get them.~

THE DEPTHS OF DEPRESSION
I feel up and I feel down;
My feelings have been all around.
The highs, the lows, the in-betweens,
leaves me self-worth of little means.
Should I give up and quit the fight?
Should I pursue a course of flight?
Should I stand and slug it out?
Is this what life is all about?
I wish there was a place of rest,
where I could go when not my best.
But such a place does not exist,
It's just a dream, a vapor mist.
For anywhere that I should flee,
my problems would catch up with me.
I'm not hard for them to find.
You see, they're a product of my mind.
Despair too often is my plight.
It makes the choices black and white.
It's life or death; ....I want the latter.
Right or wrong just doesn't matter.
Oh how twisted when your belief,
is that death hold the key to relief.

FOR LOVE
I held you close one day.
I felt your heart beating into mine.
But now, I touch you.
Your heart has stopped.
And so has time.

I don't want to go on.
Without you,
I'm just an empty shell.
I can't live on.
Without you,
I'm in hell.

So, for you, I hold this gun.
For you, I take this pill.
For you, I held that razor's blade.
For you, My Love, I will.

This looking glass in shards.
On the linoleum it slips.
Walking, barefoot, over it.
I swim in blood. It drips.

Empty corridors:
Hallways... my heart.
In my eyes, the tears well up.
Your chapter is closed.
There's a dart in my heart.

So, For you, I died.
As the blood flows down my wrist.
For you, I cried.
As the barrel of the gun, I kissed.
For you, I weep.
As the tears roll down my face.
For you, I seep.
I remember your embrace.

For you, I will do anything.
Just for you, I've cried.
Eternal rivers from my eyes.
All for Love, I died.

MY LOVE
You are my angel of tomorrow,
but it brings me happiness and sorrow.
My love is a hidden emotion,
and till my lips reveal their intention;
my heart and soul must confess,
what I wish to express.
It would make me eternally bliss,
if you were to give me a kiss;
but for your love I shall wait,
for we are bound by fate.

SUNDAY IN THE SAND
Water dancing through the river
Tossing pebbles to the thirsty water
Reading your lips
Their innocence
Your eyes sparkling
In the sun
We met long ago
Didn't know each other
Didn't you know?
I knew you all the time
And you knew me
What time is it
It's only four
No, it's later
Who cares
I want to be with you
I could tell
By the words you told me
The words you wrote
I can tell you anything
I can show you my world
Elderly couple holding hands
Sitting, hearing the river's roar
Standing, brushing myself
Holding your hand
As I lift you from the sand
We hide
Sweet lips
Is this how you feel
Yes, a thousand times
Sweet lips again
I have become
Comfortably numb
Your voice makes me quiver
As I caress your hair
What a relief
We must leave
No, stay
My chest against yours as
I feel your shallow breaths and
Taste your lips again
Spit your hair from my mouth
Stop
Your gorgeous eyes
Staring into mine
Cat's eyes
Curious not killed, but
Alive, wondrous eyes
Asking
Telling
Our eyes tell our secrets,
Our lies
It's been a long time
Since I've felt this
Me too
Kiss again
We must go
Why?
You're unsure of me
I can tell it
How long has this been here
How long have we felt this
Since the first time I met you
Many moons ago
I knew
It was always there
For you too
I think
Latent desire
Present not known
You act like we'll never see
Each other again
There won't be any left
For next time
True
But I have you now
Want you now
And still
Today
Need you now
My life
Right now
Is a dream
Prove me wrong
It's a good dream
And I don't ever
Want to wake up

LIGHTHOUSE
A razor on the sea
pares the lathering shore,
and then it becomes,
at dusk, as though changing
to evening clothes,
the herald of silence,
its trumpet light
imitating moons on oceans,
its host floating atop waves
like a kitten on a waterbed,
calm and indirect,
flattening its message
to the tide to say the shore
is what it has scripted,
that even light has its limits,
its depth changing, then forgetting,
then changing again.

AROUND THE CORNER
Around the corner I have a friend,
In this great city that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it, a year is gone.
And I never see my old friends face,
For life is a swift and terrible race,
He knows I like him just as well,
As in the days when I rang his bell,
And he rang mine.
If, we were younger then,
And now we are busy, tired men.
Tired of playing a foolish game,
Tired of trying to make a name.
"Tomorrow" I say "I will call on Jim"
"Just to show that I'm thinking of him."
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
And distance between us grows and grows.
Around the corner!- yet miles away,
"Here's a telegram sir-" "Jim died today."
And that's what we get and deserve in the end.
Around the corner, a vanished friend.
If you love someone, tell them. Remember always to say what you mean.
Never be afraid to express yourself. Take this
opportunity to tell someone what they mean to you. Seize the day
and have no regrets. Most importantly, stay close to your friends and family,
for they have helped make you the person that you
are today and are what it's all about anyway.

FRIENDS
Friends like us
rely upon one another
to inspire and encourage,
and to support each other
in following our dreams
as far as they'll take us
Friends like us us are winners
not only because we
believe in ourselves
but because we believe
in each other.

MAKE A WISH
Make a wish before you read this poem
Did you make a wish?
if you don't make a wish it won't come true
Last chance to make a wish!
Wishes of a friend
As I look out at the majestic sea,
I know you and I were meant to be.
I only wish I could make you see
How much your friendship means to me.
I wish I could walk up to you
and speak the words that friends do.
But now I sit here sad and blue
wishing that I could be with you.

DESTINED LOVE
As I look for one who holds the key
I know you and I were meant to be
I only wish I could make you see
How much your love means to me
Our hopes and dreams we forsee
Till the day they come true
I wish I could walk up to you
And speak the words that lovers do
But now I sit here sad and blue
Wishing I could be with you.

WHEN YOU LOVE A WOMAN
Baby I love you for everything you are,
everything you have and do for me,
you light me up whether near of far,
you are the best and always will be,
You treat me better than anyone,
you treat me like im gold,
or if I was very fragile,
with the utmost respect,
like im the most important thing in the world,
You and I are together as one,
and together we will grow old,
and I will take you to the isle,
the isle where it will be most perfect,
and together on a dance floor we will twirl,
and on this night we will not ever let go,
when im in your arms again,
The day we met my life changed forever,
even though I didnt see it right away,
I will always be here for you and will never,
ever leave you cuz im gonna stay,
you are worth it and I would do anything for you,
no matter what the cost may be,
I care for you dearly,
and together we can see,
I would take a bullet for you,
I would jump in front of a car for you,
anything to save you and keep you from harms way,
you fill my life and my heart with joy,
and at that moment when I first felt that I knew,
I knew we were meant to be,
meant to be together forever and ever and all of eternity
I LOVE YOU BABY AND DONT EVER FORGET IT.

CONSTANT FLOWING LOVE
My love for you is like a burning river
It's constant and always flowing through the days and nights,
My love for you is always there,
You can feel it in your heart, mind, body and soul.
I'm always there in mind and spirit...
always looking out for you
I love you baby
I love you with all I got

MY TRUE LOVE
I lay down beside you smelling and tasting you, I love you and as I kiss your lips some more I realize that you are my true love. I look into your eyes and I can tell that you love me as much as I love you. I cannot remember how we came to be wether it was by accident or on purpose I will never know But what I do know is that I love you and I feel for you more then what I have ever felt before I cannot begin to begin to show you how I feel for I am afraid my feelings are to strong. I love you and for this I am happy because I never thought I would be able to love but I have fooled myself once again. I pray to god that this feeling may never be taken away, I love you always and I never want this to end.

HAPPINESS
YOU ARE MY SOUL MATE,
MY BEST FRIEND
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
UNTIL THE END
WE MAY HAVE SOME DIFFERENCES
WE HAVE A LOT OF RIGHTS
BUT I KNOW ONE THING
I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY MIGHT
I'M GLAD WE HAVE A SONG
THAT WE CALL OUR OWN
JUST SO I CAN THINK OF YOU
WHEN IM ALONE
YOUR EYES BRING TEARS TO MY EYES
BECAUSE OF ALL THE JOY AND HAPPINESS YOU
BRING IN MY LIFE
IM GLAD I HAVE AN ANGEL LIKE YOU IN MY LIFE
AND I HOPE SOMEDAY YOU COULD BE MY LOVING WIFE
I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU SO
AND I DONT WANT TO EVER LET YOU GO
I WANNA HOLD YOU ALL DAY AND NIGHT
I WANNA HOLD YOU VERY CLOSE AND TIGHT

IT'S THE ONE
Finally! I found the one message that's just right for you.
But I want you to know... it wasn't easy to do.
Special people deserve special cards. If you were just anybody,
then any old message would do. But you're not "just anybody."
(Trust me on this one!)
A message sent to you has to be just right.
It has to be thoughtful and sincere, just like you.
It has to let you know that it is sent with a big, thankful smile.
It needs to let you know, just as soon as you read it,
that it's from someone who cares so much about you
and your happiness.
It needs to be something you can read for this moment,
but something you can remember long after this day is through.
A birthday message for you has to be as perfect as perfect can be,
because you are someone who's very special... to me.

THE WATERFALL
The waterfall may be big and it may be small,
but it still has a great power to conquer all, they are beautiful and they are loud,
but this wonder is pure and untouched by any harm,
for it gives off a charm one of beauty and one of mystery,
just how can water have so much power?
Well that is the mystery of it and millions of gallons drop,
and every second it is refreshed and new water falls,
the falling water goes through a cycle,
a cycle that will eventually bring the water back again,
thus giving the cycle and the waterfall new life,
a rebirth if you will,
always being renewed with every falling drop.
Look at this beautiful wonder.

GRIEF
I stand and look across the forest,
The night sky greets me with cold clouds.
The cool breeze stings my eyes
And slowly tears form and fall.
Collapsing to the ground i grieve my loss
And slowly at first,
Then faster,
The tears of angels fall upon me.
I look up to the sky
As the rain rinses my eyes
And comforts my grief.
The clouds break as I am cleansed
The moon looks down upon me
And the pale light washes over,
Rinsing me.
Cleansed of soul I turn back to the wind,
I shall carry on for I must.
