Homes: William boarded at Eton College during school terms. On holidays the Princes spend time on the royal estates at Sandringham, Balmoral, and Highgrove, along with Buckingham Palace. "Home" to the princes is now the five-bedroom York House (at St. James Palace), which Charles recently had refurbished.

Measurements: 6'1 1/2" (Taller than Diana was), and approximately 150 lbs.

Writes with: Left hand

Learned to Read: At age 5

Pet: Widgeon, a Black Labrador retriever (age 6), is "the royal dog".

Advised the late Princess Diana:

- To auction off her dresses for charity

- Not to take on the role of president of the R.S.P.C.A (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) because 'she would be blamed for everything he shot' (being an avid gamesman...)

Hobbies: He is a keen sportsman, preferring rugby, football (American soccer), swimming, water polo and tennis. William also hunts (with Widgeon), skis, rows and paints. Click here to see one of William's sketches.

School: Last spring Prince William graduated from Eton College in Windsor, England, where Prince Harry now attends. Prince William was one of 12 prefects (student leaders). He is now out of school on a "gap year", travelling. He was just in Chile!

Security: Wears an electronic tracking bracelet, and has two Scotland Yard detectives with him at all times when outside palace grounds.

Personality: In statements he has issued to the public, Prince William has made it clear that he is not particularly fond of the attention he receives from the public, via the media. However there is a lot of pressure on him to be the "new face" of the monarchy - to be hip and sensible simultaneously. He is beginning to show his game face.

Eating habits: In an interview a few years back, William said he enjoyed eating fruit salad, pasta and eggs from his father's hens, while Harry prefers burgers and "eats chocolate until he is sick or stopped."

Music: William told Britain's Press Association that he likes music - especially techno music - but demurred when asked to name favourite bands or performers. However, British tabloids claim he listens to Oasis, Pulp, Spice Girls, All Saints, Prodigy, and Radiohead. William had a radio in his dorm at Eton.
