Message of the Day

26th October, 2002

Basically - because I had to or have the site deleted :) - I made some updates... these lines being the most of it... a hem. Basically I dont have time for this site anymore. My SigZag program is the only thing I still actually constantly get emails for... and although I would actually like to make some changes to the program, the source code is currently in not a very healthy state (if I could find it at all), so it may be some time more before I haul my backside into that. Basically I wont be doing anything in relation to this site, until some time in the future when I get the SigZag sourcecode working again.

Until then, its been fun (well - it was like, 5 years ago :), as this site started somewhere round '96/'97ish.

Signing off,
James Dill

Well, seeing as some people have asked me why no updates.. the answer is quite simple - I am as busy as hell! I'm doing my 4th year at university and the work load atm is incredible.

I have a couple of megs on my hardrive which I will add as soon as I can find some time, so please bare with me. Another reason I haven't really put much more time into it is that it seemed that people lost interest in this library for a while... until the past month or so. Anyway, 'til next time.

After some prompting, I've now made the entire archives available in a compressed ZIP file. To download a particular category, simply click on it, and then at the bottom of the index will be the ZIP.

Again, I would like to thank everyone for their encouraging emails :), they mean a lot. (And surprisingly, I haven't gotten that many hate mails! Go figure!)

I have been getting quite a few emails from people who use Internet Explorer. I made this site to simply learn hypertext, but methinks it has gone a little beyond that now. But the thing is, I made it using Netscape, not realising that all the <SCRIPT SRC> I was using didn't work for IE3 users because of a bug in micro$oft's javascript!

Well, I finally made it so those using IE3 can now view this site :) (But it is of my considered opinion that Netscape shows frames MUCH better than IE!! - So get Netscape!)

(Stay tuned for another meg of art to be uploaded soon - whenever I get the chance....)

Well, after a moment of inspiration I decided to try and add a search engine thing-ma-jig to this site. It allows you to search through all the art in this Library... but it is a prototype so... well, you know what that means.

Any feedback will be most appreciated... especially advice on how to make it better. I'm asking around, so hopefully it will improve a lot over the coming weeks.

By the way... we got an award !!!! Thanks for all the feedback and nominations et cetera :)

I have added a couple more megabytes of art, (in otherwords, a HEAP). So theres a 100% moneyback guarantee that you'll find what ye want here :)... unless of course it's not.

Due to popular demand, a new link has been added in the Index to a heap of small pictures which can easily be used in signatures.

Ciao,
J

As I'm a little busy at the moment, I won't be adding the few megabytes of art still to be displayed for maybe a month or two. Please come back to view it, as much will be in glorious color :)

A Service to enables you to monitor when this site is updated has been included... Update Notifier .

Thanks also for all the support,
J

The art you see in these pages are written so they can be displayed in hypertext. If you wish to save some of the art, it can be done three ways....
