Squirrel Point Light Built in 1898, Squirrel Island Light is located on the southwest point of Arrowsic Island and is one of several to aid mariners along the Kennebec River. The wooden 25 foot tower is similar to the ones at Doubling and Perkins Island. The keeper's house was also built in 1898, with the oil house and boathouse later. It was automated in 1979.
