Week One:
1) You begin the mission leaving your current location (homeworlds, etc.) to arrive on B5P. Your first posts should describe your departure, journey and arrival and I hope you will post about this in the first week. Please note that I have forgotten to write down all your details including your race in my notes, so it would help if you introduced yourself and if you remember what race you are in, that would help - if you don't remember who you are, then contact me (!)
2) All members will then shuttle down to GeoDome 1, the first colony on the planet Pax XII - visitors and regulars will be assigned to luxury quarters for your stay! You are invited to test out the new recreational facilities and research areas for your first posts this mission... there will no restricted access for the first week as everyone gets a look around!
After a few weeks, the mission will split back into B5V and B5P to go about our missions. You will be advised which mission you will be in when I've sorted this out - if you're a new member you'll probably stay on Pax XII. Here is some advance information that you may wish to ignore at this time:
3) A distress call is received from a minor race, the Trepidani, in a neighbouring star system, less advanced than the Volkunes. It appears that one of their colonies is creating increasingly large shockwaves that threaten to destroy their planets and the sun. The Volkune ship LSC Vol will assist.
Meanwhile, Pax XII will be hit by saboteurs who are among the crew - the geodome begins to suffer oxygen depletion, pressure decrease and artificial gravity loss (Pax XII itself has a low gravity environment).
Well, that's all for now, guys!

Hikatuishi Creala - Post 1 (B5P) "First officers log.
This log entry officially marks the day that I take over from my friend, Vthtashi Harun de, as Executive Officer aboard the LSC Vol. Today is the day that we give Vth a proper send off as she leaves us for her new posting as CO on Pax VII. I envy her in a way as that posting will allow her to meet many new and interesting people. However, my place is at Rrons side.
I am concerned with the number of crew-members leaving this ship for the new planet. Most notably, Sairenn, our Chief Engineer. As I look at the list of names, I can honestly say that I regret losing these people as they were part of the life aboard this ship.
As I record this log, the Vol is entering orbit around Pax VII where we will be staying for a little while as guests in order to facilitate the official opening of the facility.
End log"
As soon as he had finished his log, he looked at the days duty rosters and authorised them. He wasnt afraid of the work load of an XO. After all, he had been Executive Officer before he had taken long leave on Earth with DRahnya.
He found Rron on the bridge. "Rron, can I have a word, please?"
"Sure... go ahead."
"In private?"
Rron nodded and got up from the Command chair. "Lieutenant, you have the bridge." The two entered the small room which had been set aside from the bridge in order to allow senior officers to talk in private and catch a small snack or drink where junior officers couldnt see them. "Okay, Kat. What can I do for you?"
"Well, its about Vthtashis party. She asked for a quiet one, yes? Well, I propose we give her a proper send off."
"Yes, Kat, she did. And you know full well that you are in charge of its organisation. I must admit, though, I have had the same thoughts myself. What did you have in mind?"
"Well, I suggest we keep it low key, discrete, up until the official ceremony of the passing. Then, after that, we bring in the music, lights and some male dancers!"
Rron smiled. "That would certainly... spice up the evening."
"You bet it would. Im sure there are a few men aboard this ship willing to volunteer. It will be a proper party."
"I agree. Im up for it! Well make sure Vth has a good time."
Kat left the room to find Rick and also arrange the reception.
**1200 hrs SST (Standard Ships Time)***
All off duty officers had reported to the Recreation Room on time for Vthtashis send off ceremony. Although Hikatuishi had assumed his position as XO, this ceremony made it official to the crew. In front of the crew, there was a podium with the Volkune crest embossed in the centre. Behind the podium stood Rron with Vth on his Right and Kat on his left.
Rron began the speeches. "Crew members. Welcome to the departing ceremony of Vthtashi Harun de. Vthtashi has served this ship and her crew with dignity and efficiency. This ceremony, however, marks a wonderful transition for Miss Harun de as she leaves us to join the new facility on Pax VII as Commanding Officer. Captain Vthtashi Harun de!"
Vthtashi moved to the centre of the Podium as Rron moved to her right. "Fellow officers. I have only two duties left aboard this vessel. This is the first." Vthtashi lifted an old fashioned scroll and opened it. She read the contents aloud. "Status report for LSC Vol. Currently in orbit around planet Pax VII with a crew compliment of two-hundred and sixty-four. The ship is fully operational and battle-ready. Current alert status is green." Vthtashi turned to her left to face Kat who, as per protocol, held out his hand to receive the scroll. Vthtashi placed the scroll in his hand but kept hold of her end.
"Captain Vthtashi Harun de, I hereby relieve you."
"I stand relieved." Vthtashi replied as she released the scroll. She turned back to the crowd. "Now that duty is done, I have one which remains. And that is to say that it has been a pleasure to serve with you. You are a good crew. I will miss those of you whom I leave behind."
Kat took the centre of the podium. "It is my first duty as Executive Officer to offer a reception in honour of our departing friend. You will notice there is food around the room on the tables, please eat freely. LETS PARTY!" On those words, the lights went out and Earth-style disco lights flashed while Volkune contemporary music blasted through the speakers.
As Vth was watching all this with amazement, four burly men - who Vth recognised as four of Kats marines - entered from behind the stage set opposite the podium... and started to dance for her!

V'thtashi's Farewell - Part Deux
Sometime afterwards, a very much restored Sairenn returned to her quarters. V'thtashi had been extremely successful in recruiting the young Minbari to the new peace station, and somehow got a feeling she was not going to be disappointed. One down, 15 staff members to go, she thought.
Kat rang her chimes on time, but V'thtashi had been deep in negotiations with Sairenn and her mother and so had asked him to come back after. Once Sairenn had left, V'thtashi contacted the young handsome captain and asked if he was now available. Kat was smiling as he appeared a few moments later at the thought of V'thtashi now having so much to organise and no time. He could remember when she had first boarded the Vol. She had been so timid in those days, all he had to do was give her a viscous glance and she trembled with fear. Now she could stare down the best of his marines and eat tardalak eggs for breakfast if pushed.
He had a fairly good idea what it was she needed to discuss, and made things easy for her. As expected, upon his arrival she addressed the issue of the change of command. Even though their respective changes in orders had already come through, it was tradition that the head of departments have an exchange ceremony whereby it is acknowledged in the presence of the department's staff of the change in command. As V'thtashi's last act of command, it was her duty to arrange for the ceremony before Kat officially took over as second in command of the Vol and head of the Administrative departments on board the Vol, as well as in charge of the marine contingent. As a matter of fact, it had been highly unusual for the civilian V'thtashi Harun de' to exercise command on board the vessel in times of conflict, as the security forces had come under her jurisdiction. But she and Kat had always worked together, and there had been no conflict during her command, aside from the recent unpleasantness.
Even that situation was slowly being resolved. During small talk which usually began a meeting, V'thtashi informed Kat that the reports from Sairenn and Zuzani should be due shortly. She also informed Kat of Sairenn's intention to transfer to the facility on Pax VII, but did not go into explicit detail. She had assured V'th that her reports would be ready before the transfer. She had only been awaiting for a technical report on some item which had been recovered in the lab.
They then settled down to planning the ceremony itself. Usual practice was a general standard report on ship's readiness at the time of exchange be given by the out-going officer, after which the in-coming officer acknowledges understanding and then relieves the outgoing officer of his/her duties. Afterwards, there is usually a small reception and this occasion turned out to be no different. In this instance, the out-going officer, ie V'thtashi, was going off the ship to assume a new command, and the department heads had gone all out to give her a fine send off.
The ceremony was therefore arranged to take place at 1200 hours the following day in the ship's recreation room with all able bodied off duty personnel to attend. Kat even allowed the wayward Narns freedom for the day to attend. However, he did take the extra precaution of adding an extra contingent of marines to act as a buffer around the Centauri.
Kat had suggested the uniform of the day be summer dress casual according to each race, in honour of the civilian V'thtashi, so that all might wear their finest without constriction of formal dress uniforms. V'thtashi had agreed and commented that she would therefore don her temple adept formal attire which was the closest thing to a uniform which she could manage. The simple beige silk gown was comfortable enough to be considered casual, but the ornate vestiges of purple and blue-green which symbolised her lineage (purple being the colour of Telashi Temple, and therefore of house Harun de') as well as her field of expertise (blue-green for empathy, while telepaths wore royal blue and telekinetics wore red). The vestige had been lovingly made by various members of the High Council in honour of the qualification of the daughter of the High Consul and therefore consisted of highly skilled and complex embroidery which had been steeped in symbols and flourishes.
The ceremony, with Kat relieving V'thtashi, would take place at the stroke of noon and then Kat, as per tradition, would then offer the reception in honour of the relieved V'thtashi. Rron had been made aware of all the arrangements as soon as they had been worked out, and had agreed to officiate over the ceremony, as far as was required. He then mentioned that their estimated time of arrival at Pax VII was scheduled for 1600 the same day and suggested the installation ceremony at Pax VII be scheduled for 48 hours after arrival. Kat and V'th both agreed the plan and parted to prepare for the ceremony to take place in the next 18 hours.

Lanzeckii Orinari
Well this is my second mission so here goes. ------------ Lanzeckii looked out of the window into the blackness of space. I'm really going to Pax he thought. After his mission on the Victory and the encounter with the shadows, Lanzeckii had found out who killed his family on Proxima Colony. Lanzeckii was a communications officer and it just so happened they had need of one on Pax. That, with his father's decent engineering skills made him that much more the better. I only hope my family's murderers are still there he thought, so I can get my revenge. After the shadows incident he had attack the commander but it was found out it was residual shadow influence so he was cleared. He was deeply sorry for that attack. But things move on, he only hoped that he might meet someone he could actually talk to.... but well have to see. A signal went off telling him that they were approaching their destination.

Kevin A. Torquemada
.... First post, first mission, excuse my lack of whatever protocol I should have.
1500 hours.
The security guard would not have noticed the nondescript man who tried to ruin the guard's career by slipping through the checkpoint if it had not been for the standard Psi Corp gloves and insignia. "I...
"...denticard. Here," finished the dark man, almost flicking the card at the disgruntled guard. "I shall find it necessary to report the near-breach in security to your superior. If I were not on your side, whatever that is, for the moment at least, who could imagine what contraband or terrorists I could have smuggled past this gate."
"Yes," the guard muttered sarcastically as he handed the identicard back to the agent, "you've done us all a great service, Mr. Torquemada. We always need more telepaths here."
The telepath gave an indifferent look to the guard, and immediately turned to the gaming hall. "Feel free to ask for any information you need!" the guard called after Torquemada. "Damn Psi Corp... it'll be the end of us yet," the visibly upset man complained to his partner.
--- Kevin Antonio Torquemada looked entirely out of place at the craps table. Yet he scammed, stole, and conned his way to a nice 300% profit, the dealer not suspecting a thing, his fixed dice securely cooling off in his sleeve. It was 17 hundred hours already, but he was still 2 hours early for his official appointment. The emerald in his gray eyes twinkled as he rolled the dice for the last time, and picked up his winnings to the chagrin of the house. He quickly scanned the area for anyone that might be useful, and finding no such person, straightened his uniform and walked briskly towards the door, leaving behind no one and no regrets.

Tirest of Vorune
This is the first shot at this folks so forgive any errors.
The young Minbari Wind Sword walked off the shuttle and on to B5P every inch of his being projecting the arrogance of his Warrior Caste upbringing.
"Identicard" the security guard demanded.
"Here, human."
"Tirest of the Family Vorune, Warrior Caste. Well we welcome you to B5P." the security guard said handing Tirest back his papers.
Tirest grunted and moved on past the human, wondering why the Grey Council had surrendered to these pitiful creatures. He was tired and wanted nothing more than to find his quarters on station to meditate and recover from the long trip from far border of the Minbari Federation, where he had just left his posting as a security officer on the Minbari crusier Dukat. His father's connections to the Council of Elders had won him this chance to see B5P and Pax XII. Tirest marvelled at the alien architecture of Geodome-1. It was interesting but drab compared to the beauty of Minbar's crystal cities. Perhaps when he was rested he would try out the recreational facilities to see if there was room to practice Kalan'tha and with his Fighting Pike.

Lanzeckii Orinari
Well Id just like to say hello to everyone playing. I really enjoy this and am looking forward to this mission with all of you.
"You identicard please sir" came a voice. Lanzeckii looked up at the young woman and blinked. "oh yes Im sorry." He pulled it out and gave it to her. "Your all clear sir" She said as she handed it back. Lanzeckii walked out into the customs area. It had the smell of a brand new building. Lanzeckii took it all in and breathed out a huge sigh. Feels good he thought. He looked around at the bustling activity. This place sure it alive. He looked around again and caught sight of a map of the dome. "Hmmmmmm theres the quarters and there is the command center but where is the......"he wasnt able to continue as he saw a man exit the casino. "Hey you, wait up a sec." He caught up with the man and turned to him. "Are yuo Torquemada?" He asked. The man looked at him and nodded. "I am what is it to you?" "Well sir, I have a proposition for you....."

Zazura Zu'Zani
"Zazura!" Zazura suddenly opened her eyes. "yes?" "We are at Pax VII" "Thank you." Zazura thought long and hard about her argument with Sairenn. It did not go well. Now it was a matter of honor to get her back. "Damn all the Humans!" She spat. "Computer, prepare my fighter for departure." "Affirmative" came a voice.
"Identicard please" "You dare, human!" cursed Zazura. "Whoa sorry just doing my duty....." "Here!" "How could we have surrendered to these weak fools?" thought Zazura. "Hav...." "Out of my way Human!" Zazura said as she pushed though. <Later in her quarters> "Computer, send a message to the Captain. Request a meeting as soon as possible!" "Message sent" "Computer send a message to all Warrior caste Minbari in the station. Tell them that in 5 hours we will have a meeting of the uptmost importance. And I shall not be happy with anyone who is late!" "Messages sent" "Now to prepare," said Zazura as she lit 2 candles and started to meditate.
<5 hours later in Zazura's quarters> "Thank you for coming here," said Zazura, "We have a serious situation. We have a Minbari on board who is a traitor to all Minbari! Her name is Sairenn of Renn. If you see her, you are required by the Heads of the Warrior Caste to capture her and escort her to me. Then she will be transported back to Minbar and will be tried for her crimes. Now please leave me, I must contact our superiors. If you have any questions, please see me later. Goodbye"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
G'Art Akri
"excuse me mr Akri, we have arrived at Pax VII". G'art had been sleeping during the trip down from Vol and was not in a good mood when he was awaken by one of the crew members. "Ok" he managed to say as he yawned. "I hope you will have no problems at the customs" the crew man said politely as G'art left.
At the customs there were three security guards picking out suspicious looking people, and as narns always look suspicious, they picked G'art. "How dare you human scum" the large narn shouted. "we only want to check your Identity card and luggage" the guard replied. "here I hope you choke on it" The guard looked at the card "Mr G'art Akri?" "yes that's right, can I go now?" G'art was getting impatient. "sorry mr Akri but we must check your luggage before we can let you pass" The guards opened the Bag that G'art had carried. "what is this?" the guard asked. He had picked out a small bottle of red liquid. "Just some red liquid" the narn replied. "I suppose that's all, Have a nice day mr Akri" But G'art was not listning he was already on his way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tirest had just returned from his exercise/practice session when the computer informed him that he had a message waiting.
"Play message."
"To all Warrior Caste Minbari on station. You are required to attend a meeting with Zazura Zu'Zani in her quarters in five hours from time this transmission was sent."
"Computer time of transmission origin."
"1600 hours station time."
"Current time?"
"1930 hours."
The young Minbari warrior cleaned himself up and got directions to Zazura's quarters. He wondered what this meeting was about.
After the meeting Tirest was stunned, a Minbari traitor, such a thing seemed almost impossible but that's what Zazura had claimed Sairenn of Renn was. He would follow Zazura's orders since they originated with the Caste Elders, but he wondered what Sairenn's side of the story was, or at least how sick the Minbari rogue was. It was time he learned his way around this station better anyways.

Lanzeckii strode out into the zocolo (I'll assume thats what its called) He looked around and took in the sights. He was still waiting whether or not the Telepath would help him so he decided to explore a bit. He did a little window shopping when he bumped into someone. Startled he looked up to see a female Minbari.
"Sorry miss, I have a problem of bumping into people" he said rather quickly.
She smiled at him and said "Its all right, a little bump now and then never did any harm"
Lanzeckii grinned. "My names Lanzeckii, Lanzeckii Orinari."
She nodded and replied. "My name is Lauren of the Skywalker clan (I hope thats right!?!?)
Lanzeckii pondered what to do then decided. "Um well I'd better go, uh that way" and pointed into a direction.
She looked where he was pointing and laughed. "You need to go to the Hydroponics bay, well don't let me keep you."
Realizing where he had pointed he slapped himself on the face. "Um well see you later Ms. Lauren" and with that he quickly left the area and a very tense situation, for him at least.

G'Arron Akri
Sorry about not writing sooner but here's a good one!
G'arron was packing his bag for the trip down to Pax VII, Pax- a human word from a ancient language called latin. The word means peace. Our world was peaceful, but then the Centauri came and it was Pax Centauri. But our brave people beat enemy!!!
The cost of the Centauri occupation was almost irreperable (with the help of extensive terra-forming some of the ecosystems can be restored). The legends of the Cat'an Jungles and it's animals, Legends and nothing else. Back to the packing, G'arron packed the Book of G'quon, some clothes and some other things. He took his ppg-gun and holstered it, also his knife. He went out of his quarters grabing his light-repeating PPG rifle on the way out and headed for the Shuttle-bay. There he met up with the others that were going down to the surface. The shuttle waited for Captain Creala and then departed. He tried to get some sleep on the way down but didn't manage as well as G'art who had to waked as we arrived.
G'arron was one of the last to leave the shuttle as he heard the custom guards yell ""Put your weapons on the ground slowly, place your hands on top of your head and lie down on the floor!" G'arron rushed to assist the Captain but at the time he arrived the matter was settled by V'thtashi. They discussed for a while who would have killed who as the guard said that they would have blastered him. "Sure",he said to himself as him lowered his rifle and signaled to G'art to back down. G'art had pulled out 2 throwing knifes. They would have lived long enough to try! Captain Creala made a demonstration of his powers, and this totally took the guard by surprise. The guards were a little upset about G'art being so heavily armed but the Captain and V'thtashi settled the matter quickly.
As we moved towards the areas were our Quarters were stationed Saireen seemed disturbed. She said something about the Minbari's were after her! "They move a finger towards her and they lose them", G'arron Thought! Saireen had been with them at the Volkune uprising and fought with them (in her own way)and if she needs help she'll get it because a friend at arms (metaphorical speaking) is allways to be helped! G'arron finally arrived at his quarters and these were, quite spacious and luxurious compared with our onboard quarters! He sat down to think about the recent Things that have happened!

Sean Flynn
This is my first post and first mission so please bear with me, if I miss any protocol required. (Also in Australia we are only in the middle of season 4 last ep was Lines of Communication, so I appologize for any errors involving the b5 universe)
-------- Mars space--------- Who was the person who decided to put fighter pilots together with GROPOS on an overcrowded shuttle going from Mars to B5P?
Flynn looked out of the port hole, he could see the red planet below. He thought hopefully that this would be the last time he saw it for a very long time, he thought of her... she was his wing man, his friend, and lover. Then he remembered four weeks ago, when he got the news that while she was on transfer to Station Io, her starfury had apparently exploded, they said some fault in the engines. Knowing that she was gone and would never come back, he blamed himself for not going with her instead of taking 48 hours free time, she was the only one that gotten to him after his parents where killed during a food riot. Flynn focused back to the inside of the shuttle looking at GROPOS telling their war stories to each other and abusing the 'Fly Boys' near them. As the jump gates powered up, Flynn took one last look at Mars, now a small object in space, and said to himself 'Bye....".
------- Hyper space -------- "......Anyway that's how I got this scar on my forehead," said the Ground Pounder to Flynn. After a few hours, the GROPOS had gotten tired of small fighting with the pilots after the sixth brawl and decided to bore them with more of their 'fasinating' war stories. "Wanna know how I got this these scars on my back?", asked the soldier as he pulled up his t-shirt, showing around fifteen scars. "Er?? No thanks" replied Flynn who did not feel like talking to anyone, unless he had to for awhile "Okay then you tell me a story", said the soldier Wanting this guy to leave him alone, he started to tell him the most boring mission that Flynn had flown, escorting a cargo vessel of no value to anyone to attack. After about five minutes the marine left Flynn to himself. Flynn took this time to get some sleep.
------ B5P -------- Flynn awoke quickly. The shuttle had already docked. People gather their things and started to leave. Flynn who travels very lightly, quickly grabbed his belongings and proceeded to customs. The usual type of aliens and people where there, Narns, Drazi, Minbari and then there were smugglers trying to explain 'how did that get there' or 'never seen that stuff in my life' to security. Flynn approached the security guard and gave him his identicard before the guard could ask. "Ummm everything seems to be in order, here.... Lieutenant Flynn", said the guard and gave the card. "Thanks", replied Flynn as he took the card back. "Good to see some fighter pilots coming through here every now and then, where are you heading after here? ",asked the guard "Pax XII", said Flynn as he left the customs area and decided to find some place to sleep, before starting to get used to his new 'home'

Lanzeckii left the hydroponics bay rather quickly. Man that was awkward he though to himself. He had no reason to go to the hydroponics bay but had to follow through when he told lauren he was going there. Lanzeckii sighed to himself. He looked around again and noticed many, many people. "Man this place is crowded" he acciddently said aloud. A passer by stopped and commented. "This is the time with the lowest amount, so get used to it and continued on .Lanzeckii sighed again. He definatly wasn't gonna get much privacy here, he was starting to regret transfering here. And what was he doing here. He still hadnt been contacted or notified of anything.He walked of into the crowd wondering what to do.

The young Minbari warrior had been roaming the layout of Geo-dome 1 for several hours. He had been over most of the layout and was pretty sure he could find his way around in an emergency. As yet he had not crossed paths with Sairenn. Turnning a corner he found himself in the press of arriving visitors to the dome. Among the newcomers was a Volkune of obvious rank being harrassed by the human security. Humans were just too paranoid to make good security. He watched as the events unfolded. Guards ordering the Volkune to put down his weapons while attempting to flank him. Tir noted the two heavily armed Narns drawing down on the humans unnoticed by the guards. The incident was resolved by the arrival of another Volkune also of rank. The Narns put up their weapons and joined the Volkune pair just as Sairenn in a very agitated state joined them begging protection from Zazura. This Sairenn was not the warrior caste the Zu'zani had portrayed in her briefing but worker caste.
Tirest moved openly toward the Volkune's group. The appearence of an obviously warrior caste Minbari coming their way brought Tirest into the sights of the Narns' weapons. Tirest spread his arms in the Minbari jesture of respect for an armed opponent.
"I have no quarrel with you Narn."
"Then go back to your Mistress and tell her to call off the rest of her warriors, Minbari." G'arron spat back.
"Zazura has much to explain, such as why she portrays one of the Worker Caste as a member of the Warrior Caste. She has called you a traitor to Minbari, Sairenn of Renn. I would hear your side of the tale before I commit my resources to this battle."
"Spoken like a true Wind Sword. Who are you Warrior?" asked Creala.
"I am Tirest of the Family Vorune, a member of the Wind Sword Clan of the Warrior Caste, and you would be?"
"I am Captain Craela. and this is V'thtashi, G'arron and G'art."
"A honor to meet you Alit Creala, word of your fame has reached even to the far borders of the Minbari Federation. If your Narns would care to point their weapons elsewhere we might discuss this situtation without drawing an audience. Besides the humans are already jumpy about the number of armed guests arriving through customs, I do not wish to give them a reason to ease their stress on us."
"Very well come with us young Tirest of Vorune and we'll try to explain the problem between Siarenn and Zazura."
~~~~~~~~~~
The dark man looks at Lanzeckii with an evaluative eye. His left glove gives off a quite audible noise as the black leather rubs against itself. The emerald in his eyes sparkles as a crystal does when a brief, narrow strip of light passes over it. The tone of his voice as he responds sounds like he is reading out of a disclaimer out of a manual.
"I have no objections to this venture, yet I must question your need for discretion. As you most likely know, unauthorized scans are illegal, and the discretion of any services I could provide for you is limited by this parameter. If the services you require need me only to use my abilities in a legal manner, I believe that we may begin discussing the neccessary fees in this task."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lanzeckii sat in the crowded zocolo. It seems his plan to use a telepath to find his family's murderers had fallen through so he was wondering what to do. As he pondered this he noticed a person. As he looked closer he saw that it was one of the guys he was after. Standing up he pulled out his sidearm.
"You there stop!" he cried.
When the guy noticed him he broke into a run away from him. They ran straight into the hydroponics bay. Lanzeckii took aim and fired but missed by a fraction of an inch. he looked to the side and saw Lauren and some other minbari start to get up in surprise. When he looked back the guy was gone.
"DAMN!!!!" he yelled
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"The GeoDome. What a wonderful place to be," thought the telepath half-sarcastically. He stood up from the plush, leather-like lounge chair he had been reclining in carefree and walked briskly down a corridor that led to the major recreation center.
If nothing else, at least the dome had a lower gravity. The Earth-born human bounded lightly through the halls, each step feeling as if it barely touched the ground. He knew that he would regret this assignment upon his departure, but the temporary satisfaction of increased strength was strangely exhilarating and slightly euphoric.
Of course, there was the never-ending list of complaints that Torquemada had of his new home. The discontent human continued to mentally add problems he had with the dome exponentially every time he walked down a new hall; the same hall often revealed new dillemas to the man. The gambling was too simple, it provided no challenge. The guards were always half asleep; he had stolen and returned the same pair of construction plan data crystals 3 times out of a medium security sector. This lack of challenge was becoming increasingly dull.
As the dice rolled freely out of his hands, he contemplated Lanzekii's proposal. Perhaps it was time he reevaluated his grasp on the policies of Psi Corp. The distance that he now found between himself and Earthdome sufficiently weakened the long arm of the Corp to the point where he would most likely escape persecution of a few unauthorized scans as long as they were not too frequent and he took extra precautions. The whole purpose of the law against unauthorized scans was a pathetic diplomatic act, anyhow, designed so that the mundanes that were unfortunately in charge of the goverment wouldn't be frightened into cutting Psi Corp funding or sending troops against us.
Perhaps a deal with Lanzekii wouldn't be too bad of an idea after all. Besides, whatever this assignment entailed would probably be an insult to his superior abilities anyways. They would have him looking for lifeforms or something. He would most likely not get a chance to exploit his powers for quite a while yet. The telepath smiled at the groan of the dealer as he collected his winnings, and set off to find Lanzekii. Hopefully, the mundane had not yet changed his mind.
Lanzeckii hit the wall again in frustration. He faced the minbari with the weapon and got his gun ready."What do you want minbari" he said coldly and calculatingly"Why did you fire into a crowd" he repeated."I had my reasons" Lanzeckii replied. With this he turned and walked out of the Bay. Bfore he left he turned"I apoligize for bothering you 2, I didnt mean to interupt.." And he trailed off as he left. Leaving 2 perplexed Minbari behind....
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kat entered his room and found it to be far more luxurious then his room on board the Vol. The bed was comfier - although he personally preferred a hard bed, there was plush carpet on the floor, there was far more space. He had been provided with a computer terminal and a secure link to the network and communications. He placed his bags on the floor and locked his weapons securely away. Vth had told him that offensive weapons were to become illegal inside the facility, since it is a peace platform. She did, however, give him the concession of being allowed to carry the light-sabre. She also asked if he would be so kind as to give the security a shake-up, seeing as Kat is a security expert.
Kat logged on to the system and accessed security details of the facility. Upon doing so, he noticed several weak areas. He made notes of each one. One of these was a storage vault of medium security which held the GeoDome1 design data-crystals. "Hum... thats a good idea. Leaving the designs for the facility in a medium security room." He left to check it out.
He arrived at the rooms entrance and noticed some tampering. "Great.. someones already had a go. And this is supposed to be a PEACE planet?" He opened the door with his swipe card and PIN number... and found that the storage container locked in there was missing! A quick scan with his hand-held scanner revealed that the crystals had been missing for several hours... but more strange than that, they had been stolen before AND REPLACED. Suddenly, Kat had a flash vision of a man walking down the corridor towards the room. He shut the door and waited.
Twenty minutes later, Torquemada walked through the corridor towards the supposedly secure room. Making sure there was no-one around, he gained access by using a false card along with some neat tricks. As he opened the door he took from his pocket the data crystals which he had stolen four times. Now he was replacing them.... again. Suddenly, a hand shot out from the darkness, pulling Torquemada off balance and into the room. Kat turned on a light.
"I believe you have something of ours?" Kat said.
Torquemada had been looking down as he was wrenched inside. Now he levelled his head as he began to speak. "Who the hell are......." He broke off as his eyes were looking straight forward... into Kats chest. "... you?" he finished quietly. He couldnt scan this giant no matter how much he tried!
Kat put his hand inside Torquemadas pocket and took out the data crystals. "Have you accessed these?" Kat said with the authority of a Marine Captain.
"No, I just wanted the challenge of stealing them. The security is not very tight here and I will be informing your superiors." Torquemada had tried to take control.
"I am the superior you would want to talk to." That took the wind out of Torquemadas sails.
"Oh, then I suggest you do something to remedy the appalling situation." Torquemada hoped he wasnt digging himself a grave.
"Oh, dont worry. You see, these data crystals are fakes. This room is actually a closet for the cleaners. Its medium security because of the chemicals and equipment in here. It just hasnt been stocked yet."
Torquemada tried once more to scan Kat to see if he was lying. He failed. Only the deadly serious expression on Kats face told of the sincerity.
"I assure you, we do not take security lightly here. Let me see your Identicard." The card was viewed and returned. "Well, Mr Torquemada, I suggest that you behave yourself. Well be watching you."
Torquemada left the room as fast as he could. He had not accessed the data crystals and so had no way of knowing that Kat was lying.
Kat watched the man leave and wondered about his own abilities. He had seen the man come twenty minutes before the event. Perhaps his mental powers were strengthening. Then, he wondered which fool had masterminded the security protocols for a storage room containing important information such as construction plans. He placed a security detail on the room and ordered the immediate heightening of security but decided to take no action against Torquemada... except from having him watched closely by every security team in the facility and his movements traced continually. Kat returned to his quarters.
After spending some time analysing the security of GeoDome1, there was an alert beep! Laser fire had been detected near the hydroponics bay. Kat quickly logged off and ran to the site of the incident. It was a long way, but he covered the distance in literally seconds. He saw Lanzeckii faced off with a Minbari. Lanzeckii began to walk off but Kat caught him up. "Excuse me, sir. Im afraid Im going to have to ask for your weapon."
"Volkune security? What? Am I not allowed to carry a weapon?" Lanzeckii was not afraid of the Volkune Captain.
"No, you are not. And you are certainly not allowed to fire it into crowds! That is not a defensive weapon."
Lanzeckii was starting to lose his patience. "No, its an offensive weapon that will put a hole though you if you dont leave me alone!" He brandished the PPG pistol.
Kat reached out with his mind and touched Lanzeckii. "Give me the weapon."
Lanzeckii found the suggestion to be irrepressible, it was so strong. He placed the pistol in Kats hand. "Thank you. Now, you have some explaining to do. Lets start at the beginning."
Now, Matt. Here's your chance to tell us what is going on. I'm curious.
Please note that this facility is a PEACE PLANET for purposes of diplomatic convenience. Because of this, security is being tightened now that the facility is on-line. So, unless you want to be arrested, keep out of trouble <g>

Lanzeckii looked at Hi'katuishi Creala. He looked at him with anger. "You used your god damned mind power on me!" he yelled. "You have to RIGHT! I can tell when people use mind powers on me its in my family."
Hi'katuishi Creala looked at him. "You can lodge a formal complaint later right now tell me whats going on" Lanzeckii started to respond then stopped, composing himself." That man was one of the people who killed my family on the Proxima colony. I was going to repay him for what he and his collegues had done to me." Lanzeckii started to lose himself. "They killed my little sister for god sakes!" now he was in full tears. "She was only 4 years old!" Now I wont let anyone, No....

The plot thickens...
Not since he had entered this beautiful GeoDome had the green sunbursts in his eyes shone as brightly as they did now. It may even be argued that the telepath smiled as he stood up and brushed himself off after the immense Creala had thrown him to the floor. His rapid departure after the minor confrontation with the security officer was not so much in fear of punishment, but in the jubilent realization that this planet offered more challenge than he had previously estimated. Certainly, Creala would have him followed for a while, but that did no more that intensify the adreniline rush that he felt even now.
Creala, obviously of some sort of telepathic powers, had blocked Kevin's scan. Yet a scan was not necessary to know that Creala had been upset a little by the repeated robbery of the data crystals. Most likely, the crystals had been copies of the originals and were in storage; no amount of muscle could convince Torquemada that any security team would waste the time in putting fake data crystals in a chemical storage room. If the medium security was put in place to protect the chemicals, then it would be obviously counterproductive to store fake data crystals, a target by one who would be a terrorist, in a position to attract more of such criminals. Most likely, the chemical storage facility simply provided a safe place to store the copies.
That was all of no matter, however. It was not as if the dark telepath was bent on the destruction of the GeoDome; he rather was beggining to enjoy the place. Life is a game to the telepath, and risk is the key to winning. To realize that there is at least one competent security officer in the Dome was a great comfort. It was too bad that he had not met Creala under different circumstances. The officer seemed like quite the cunning and ordered fellow.
In the midst of the bustling crowds of the fast moving commerce section, the human stood with his eyes narrowed, searching the crowd for Lanzeckii's mind. Finally finding it, he caught up with the mundane, who was obviously upset about something that had just happened. Never mind that, thought Torquemada.
"Lanzeckii, I have reconsidered your offer. Perhaps you have a minute to discuss the details of what exactly you require of me?"

Now Sairenn was looking forward to settling in here on Pax VII, but she found out within minutes of arriving, that here 'settling' might be postponed for a while. Sairenn had only left the Vol two hours ago, but she already had the feeling that coming here, to the new Pax VII colony, could have been one of the largest mistakes she'd ever made.
*No,* she corrected her self *Deciding to talk with that warrior. *that* was the biggest mistake I've ever made!*
~~~~~~~~~f~l~a~s~h~~b~a~c~k~~~~~~~~~
Sairenn had just come from making her final report to V'th on the strange device that had been planted in the machinery back aboard the Vol. It'd been fairly easy to put together the holographic device to test the device with. But when Sairenn had finally gotten around to trying to access its programming, she'd run into every kind of wall she'd ever know. She was unsuccessful in accessing the information implanted in the piece, but she did find out a lot about the person who must have placed it there. For one thing, it had been scrambled backward and forward. Sean didn't have any luck finding a signature, but he had guessed it was of Human origin. So they figured out it was a Volkune device, programmed by a human, planted in a Centauri machine. but they'd never found out who the saboteur was. V'th had been very disappointed in the results of their investigation, but they had given it their best shot.
She was now walking toward the colony center on her way to find assigned quarters. Sairenn figured that she should take the main pathways, so as not to get lost. She didn't want to get caught up in a back alleyway or a path to nowhere, she wasn't in the mood for that.
As she walked and admired the Minbari architecture, another of her race approached her. Sairenn was startled at first, she had not know there would be other Minbari in the place. From the talk she'd had with Tashi Sairenn had gotten the solid idea that, excluding herself, there would be no Minbari in the installation.
*Guess I was wrong* she thought.
"You. You are worker are you not?" Came a calm voice.
"Yes." Sairenn stated, bowing slightly in a welcoming gesture.
"Of the house of Renn?"
".Yes." She hesitated.
The Minbari nodded. "I am Sarinth. I am Anla'shok." He paused momentarily. "Are you aware Sairenn of the House of Renn. that you are wanted by the warrior caste and that all Minbari in this colony have been ordered to turn you in?"
Sairenn lifted her eyes to the ranger. "By who's orders?"
"A warrior Zu'zani."
*Flak'tcha! I knew there would be no end to this. * Sairenn cursed silently in her mind. "Are you here to take me away then?"
The ranger shook his head, "On the contrary. I am just forewarning you Sairenn. I serve Entil'zha, not the warrior caste. I will not turn you in. But you should be careful that they do not catch up with you."
Sairenn titled her head slightly in curiosity. "Your loyalty-"
"Is not important to dwell on. it is in your best interest to keep moving." his voice was kind.
"Thank you sir. I will." Sairenn was in awe at this kindness from a Minbari. She had never known one of her own kind that had been accepting of her independence.
"Go with Valen Sairenn." With that the Ranger left her and walked into a nearby building.
*I have to find Kat. V'th. Ron. I must be granted asylum!*
Sairenn started off in a jog to find Kat, perhaps his security could keep her safe from ZuZani for now.
~~~~~~~~~l~a~t~e~r~~~~~~~~~~~
"Sairenn, what's up?" Kat asked as they passed a flustered Sairenn of Renn.
"They. they." She tried to catch her breath. "They're after me. Zazura sent them after me!"
"Who?" Kat asked.
"The other Minbari. They're all of the Warrior caste. well, there's a Ranger too."
"Sairenn, come with us. They won't touch you while we are here. Then, V'th perhaps you had better have some words with Zazura?"
As soon as Sairenn had met up with Kat and V'th one of Zazura's warriors converged on her position. Sairenn sneered in his general direction.
The Minbari spoke, "Zazura has much to explain, such as why she portays one of the Worker caste as a member of the Warrior caste. She had called you a traitor to Minbar, Sairenn of Renn. I would hear your side of the tale before I commit my resources to this battle."
Sairenn shredded his words in her mind as Kat responded to the warrior. She didn't trust him, as an instinct, but he was sounding fair enough.
"Tirest of the Family Vorune." Sairenn caught his name.
Kat spoke again, "Very well come with us young Tirest of Vorune, and we'll try to explain the problem between Sairenn and Zazura."
~~~~~~~~m~u~c~h~~l~a~t~e~r~~~~~~~~~~~
"and so when she told me I could no longer serve outside of Minbari."
"ZuZani was right about the new doctrine. They council is cracking down on their policy. But it is to keep our people from emigrating as much as they have been lately. How far do you intend to take this plea for freedom?"
"I have every intention of staying here." Sairenn said defensively.
"Well, by every principal we follow there is no other choice but to take you back by force. that is. unless you were to dissasociate yourself with our people permanently." Sarinth was trying to keep the conversation civil.
"If I decided to defect?" Sairenn questioned.
"You will be excommunicated from the government. Of course, you will be allowed communications and such, and you will still be able to visit. But, you can recieve no more benefits from our government or caste system, your house name will be stripped from you and you will not be able to become a citizen of Minbar."
Sairenn slumped her shoulders in dispair. *I never knew how important those things were until I'm faced with throwing them all away.*
"My family. Will they be harmed?" Sairenn was concerned.
"No, they will not be harmed...except from the occasional mockery from warriors who consider it a disgrace. They will not have any affiliation with you."
"I need time to think this over..." Sairenn whispered dispairingly
"With asylum, which Rron PrimaVol has granted you, we can not forcefully take you back to Minbar. But if we go through the right channels, in time we will have the Volkune government turn you over. I suggest you decided quickly Sairenn. Zazura will not let it go for long."
There was silence between the two minbari.
"And you..." Sairenn questioned softly, "what would you do in my place."
Tirest shook his head. "My heart is that of a warrior. I would follow orders... for you, it is different. I can not help you in your decision. But I respect your choice even if I do not agree with it."
Sairenn nodded, "Thank you for your patience."
With that Tirest left Sairenn to brood over her decision.
~~~~~~~~e~n~d~~o~f~~f~l~a~s~h~b~a~c~k~~~~~~~~
Sairenn now walked into the V'th's office. Ron was there speaking to her.
"Yes, Sairenn... what can I do for you? I trust Zazura isn't bothering you anymore..."
Sairenn nodded to both of her superiors, "No, ma'am. But I would like to discuss the situation one last time."
V'th looked at Rron, when he nodded his approval she responded, "All right Sairenn. What's on your mind."
"You both, have been most generous in handling this situation. I apologize for getting you involved... it was my problem, I should have handled it on my own. I do not want to impose on you or your government..." She paused as if the words were difficult for her. "which is why ma'am... sir ... I have decided to defect from Minbar." Her eyes were now downcast.
V'th sat up straight in her chair and then stood. She paced around the back of her chair and then turned to face Sairenn. "I hope this doesn't mean you'll be leaving us..."
"On the contrary ma'am. I would still be honored to hold a post here. But to do so... I can not be a part of Minbar any longer." Sairenn tried to justify her decision.
Rron continued to sit on the edge of V'th's desk. He was trying to allow V'th to handle the situation, it was her command now. He was also partly in awe at the situation. He'd never witnessed anyone defect from their home planet... it was somewhat of a curiosity to him.
V'th sighed audibly and nodded her head. "I understand your situation Sairenn. I know your life hasn't been easy... and deep down, I know this is what you need to do for yourself. I just hope you know what you're getting yourself into..."
*I hope so too.* Sairenn thought to herself. "Yes, ma'am. I know what I'm in for. I just don't want to cause you any trouble, which is why I came here first."
"I'm glad you did. So we can keep this under wraps." V'th looked at Rron.
He spoke up. "Do you want Volkune citizenship?"
Sairenn shot Rron a questioning glance.
"I can't say that it's ever been done before. But, if you'd like. I can arrange it for you." His voice was comforting and powerful.
"I think... I believe I would like to stay -- what is it human's say? Ehm--...lone wolf... for now." Her eyes were again downcast, "But I appreciate the offer sir."
Rron chuckled. "Anytime Sairenn. And if you change your mind... the offer is still good."
Sairenn bowed to him, "I thank you deeply sir."
V'th chimed back in now. "Sairenn, I know this isn't going to go over too well with Zazura, or many of the other Minbari... so it's going to be tough on you. But I trust it won't take away from your duties. Now, while you get used to this... go find your quarters and settle in... we've got a lot of work to do with this place."
Sairenn nodded and bowed, "I will not fail you. Thank you... both."
Sairenn stepped out into the paths. A soft artificial breeze was blowing through the dome. She took a deep breath. She had her freedom now, but it wasn't so sweet.
*This is probably only the beginning* She thought to herself as she wandered to her new home.
~~~~~~~~
ok I haven't posted in a long time. I gonna post now. I feel the Centauri have been neglected.
Feaf was sitting in his quarters. He was staying in the shadows lately. He didn't like all the Minbari that were around. He thought of just getting drunk and leaving everything to pot. He slowly took another sip of his beverage. He then thought he put some of his father's files to good use.
Feaf slowly said, "Computer Deliver message to that Minbari, Sar..... Saire..... Sairenn. " Feaf then slowly took another sip and went on.
"Compuer record...... Hello my dear Minbari I have some information for you. It might be nothing, but if you know the Centari and their Purple files you will know that you better listen. You are mentioned in my familes purple files. I would gladly show you what I have. You may come to my quarters..... Computer end and and hold."
Feaf drifted back in his chair. He then got out his special reserves. Some blend that does something to Minbari. It be interesting. He wondered what all this stuff was in this file. Some stuff about the Minbari and there......... Feaf just didn't care.
Now Feaf had to send another message to the other Minbari the warrior one, Zuzani.
"Computer record using secret codes so this can't be traced. This to be sent to Zuzani. "
"record...... I have something that may interest you. You remember your dealing with the Centauri? Well I do, very intresting. I hope you are ready for this to become public. Unless you want to talk. If you do place a bottle of Bredsnap in the Centauri garden. thank you.....if not.... I know a certain minbari that will be interested in hearing........end"
Feaf snuk back in. Now just needed to wait and see
Personal log - audio 98 day of Be'chan
"New people, a new planet, a new job. a new freedom.
I suppose I don't even have to continue to keep these logs any longer. There's no one to tell me what exactly I have to do now. Well, not including V'thtashi, I do report to her. But, really, no government. that's the big part. It feels. it feels different then I would have thought a few days ago. Emptier, yes. there's a sense of abandonment here, like I do not belong. I'm pretty sure I'll be fine on my own, but now, will any of the others accept me?
Last night was like hell. I couldn't sleep much at all. My biggest concern of course, being my father. I'm not sure when he'll get word of my defection. .I'm not even sure the government will tell him. If I know the warrior caste, I'll be reported as dead to all but the eldest of the clan. I'm thinking about sending a communiqué to father sometime this week, if I can get access to the right channels and all. I just want to let him now. I'm following my heart.
To hit a more trivial subject. these quarters. Amazing is not the word to describe all of this. At first, I thought there was some mistake. I had to check with the quartermeister twice to make myself believe I'd come to the right place. Not even those of the Grey Council were afforded living quarters of such great luxury on Minbar. But then again, these *are* new facilities. I have much more space that I really need for anything. My belongings are so few, that these new quarters just look, and *feel* empty. I have royal living quarters. now I only need to work on the horizontal bed.
Chief engineer. Wow. Even after two days it still seems so far off. I never thought, back on that old Minbari cruiser, I never thought I would ever get anywhere. There was no room for advancement there. But now, now these Volkunes who put their trust in me. have given me a great honor, a chance to serve them. I only hope that this recent. incident. doesn't change their opinion of me.
I have decided that it is in my best interest to learn the native language of the Volkunes. It would also come in handy to learn some Centauri, but I have less desire to pursue that path of learning. I will also have to become much more familiar with computers now that I have the chance of being separated from Sean. His computer expertise definitely spoiled me for a while, while aboard the Vol. So, languages will be my main studies here. I will have to make free time to pursue them.
Is that all- oh yes. On a final personal note. I have decided now, since I have formally Defected from Minbar, that I should . emh revise my life style accordingly. I'm thinking of getting rid of these robes.. <sigh> they're always getting in the way as it is. I'm sure I can build a new wardrobe, there are many quality stores here. And with a little help, perhaps I can start to build a new me.
"Computer? End recording. File under new personnel, name Sairenn of the House of-.. Under new personnel, name Sairenn."
"Do you wish to enter secondary identification for security purposes?"
"No. I no longer have secondary identification. Save the file!"
Personal Log recording for EA Lieutenant Flynn, Sean Local Time is 2100 hours.
'Hmmm.... Well what can I say?. I arrived here mid yesterday the trip was bad, This place is big and I mean big, but so far I have seen hardly any other humans here besides the security guys at the customs area, mostly I have seen many Minbari and Volkunes around the place, they go about their own business and don't bother anyone, but the Pak Ma Ra!.... They are everywhere at a place like this, just when I was going to my quarters yesterday for the first time, two of them waiting out the front were trying to sell me bits of broken junk like circuit boards and metals from salvaged ships found in deep space.... Er I don't know? Maybe there should be a law, preventing them from doing stuff like that! 'public nuisance'. I went down to the Zocalo today, spent the morning buying some stuff for my quarters, though I did get offered allot of stuff at good prices ranges for exotic services and down right dangerous goods, but I did not except any of them. Some places in there where like the Pak Ma Ra except for one thing, you have to go to them. Also heard something about PPG fire or something near the hydroponics garden.
Anyway I got a message from a friend in my old squadron back at Mars today, he recommend that I should take up free lance piloting work, real good money in it, I gave it some thought, I do have enough credits to buy a ship, and I think there would be allot of offers for a free lance pilot here. But I decided not to.... Also flying a 'fury' or a 'thunderbolt' by itself is better than being shot at by some Earth Alliance vessel for running contraband around. Though I can't really go flying and log in any time yet. EA has not sent my new fighter here yet, I've been told military budget has to pass through EarthGov senate first, they could of given me my old one to fly here. So I am now pretty much waiting on that to come through, so at the moment I have to sort of enjoy the what's here at GeoDome...... End' . End of Personal Log for EA Lieutenant Flynn, Sean
