Mission In Brief
Babylon 5 RPG Joint Mission
With the help of Minbari and Centauri forces, the temporary reign
of the Volkune People's Republic, also known as the
Insurrectionists, has been ended. The Insurrectionist in
charge, General Rork, has been captured and charged with a long
list of violations of the interstellar treaty under which the
station is ruled.
Disappointed by the failure of their current ambassador on Pax
VII to assist the Republic in maintaining control of the station,
the Earth Alliance has decided to send a new, more aggressive
ambassador to defend their interests on the council.
Realizing that this transfer of diplomats also provides Earthgov
with the opportunity to assert their influence over the growing
Volkune power, the human ambassador's transport is accompanied by
a group of Earth Force warships under the guise of
"escorting" the transport through the contested space
of the Volkune civil war. Among these warships is the EAS
Victory.
Strained for a figurehead under which Royalist forces can
unite, it is decided that Diana Vol, daughter of the exiled
PrimaVol, shall ascend to PrimaVol status and lead her people to
retake Vol'Indi. Despite the differences in their
governments' views, the members of the gathered celebrate this
momentous occasion aboard the station.
Meanwhile, directly below the feet of the celebration, the
Royalists find that they have a new asset to their revolution...
