I have seen God's creatures of the deep.
Some are large, some are small.
All of which could stand seven feet tall.
No matter how grand, no matter how slight,
for they all are beings of flight.
These animals of today are our teachers of
tomorrow. Though it seems they are
diminishing, much to my sorrow.
They sing, they dance, they smile, they cry.
Why can't they be a bit more shy?
We kill them, we slaughter them, we sell them,
we trade them. One day my friend we may obey
them.
It's not very funny if you stop to consider,
God might just end our day of bitter.
They send us their moans, they send us their
sighs. To some it's special. To me it's
dreadful to think that man could be so
inconsiderate, when at times they are so
deliberate.
The time has come to hear their plea. For
Tomorrow we may hear -- nothing but the sea.
They have warned us. Let us beware. They
could be our future or our despair.
