This instruction is specific for making a list of wav files in the cheeta sounds folder, but may be adapted to making a list of any files in a particular directory.

Open MSDOS.... (start........program files......... msdos)

A black "window" will open......

Your prompt will be c:\windows>

Type in       cd c:\      [ENTER]

You'll then see C:>

Then type in       cd c:\program files\cheetachat\sounds      [ENTER]

(if that is bad command name type it as
c:\progra~1\cheetachat\sounds      [ENTER])

You should then see c:\program files\cheetachat\sounds>

Then type in      dir | sort > mysounds.txt      [Enter]

Look in the sounds folder - name of all wav files should be there as mysounds.txt. (If you aren't sure how to do that, do a "find" for "mysounds.txt" -- click on start.....find......files/folders......type in mysounds.txt.... and "find now"). You may rename it to whatever you want to call it by right clicking on it and "renaming". If your list is there, simply close the MSDOS window by clicking on the X in the upper left corner.
