The Inhabitants of the Baker Ranch

The Baker Ranch Photo Album

This is the view from the fireplace through to the kitchen. Yep, it's that far...these three rooms compose approximately a 45 foot expanse.
The master bathroom...gotta have separate sinks just in case you need to share....
The tub in the master bathroom...ya'll thought I was joking about the whirlpool tub? I did spare you the pictures of the commode and the shower stall which are on the opposite side of this room.
My view of the world from the kitchen window. Thank heavens there is grass, although the infamous chicken house now sits behind that line of firewood. Can't watch the chickens while getting a cup of coffee if you don't strategically place them, ya know....
Travis' room before the child moved in...I hate to even open the door to it now, so I guess the memory of it being open might be the best.
Billy's room...same story as Travis'...keep the door closed unless there is an emergency need to enter. Between their rooms is a bathroom all of their own...I thought having two bathrooms would afford the privacy we used to lack. I think the bathroom has become a meeting place for them, though...I certainly see them a lot at my end of the house....
The living room end of the master bedroom...
The other end of the master bedroom. Gee, I wonder now if we thought we were going to spend a lot of time in here? hahahahaha...oops, I shouldn't laugh, but the whole notion is kind of commical to me at the moment..
The dining room windows...I was thrilled to have a separate dining room to
(1) keep everyone out from under my armpits while I was cooking (I seriously underestimated the tenacity of my children).
(2) not to have carpeting below the table where children ate (this is still the best idea since sliced bread if I can get them to sit there),
(3) to be able to look out on the world (which is now the chicken house from another angle)....
The other end of the fireplace, which then opens to the french doors that lead out to the deck...next installment when pictures get developed and scanned...stay tuned...
