THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION... heck, i've been working on other areas of my page... this will probably be my last area to work on.

The Godfather flicks...The Usual Suspects...Very Bad Things...The Sixth Sense (highly recommend)...Portrait of a Lady...The Piano...Scarface...The Star Wars flicks...54...Hope Floats...Practical Magic...Casualties of War...Full Metal Jacket...Dr. Strangelove...Jean de Florette and Manon of the Spring...Europa, Europa...The Quiet Earth...Coal Miner's Daughter...Thelma and Louise...Goodfellas...Casino...Ringmaster (the Jerry Springer flick...but I think you have to be from the south to fully appreciate the humor)...Earth Girls are Easy...Sammie and Rosie Get Laid...Elizabeth...Sense and Sensibility...A&E's Pride and Prejudice...another Jane Austen book to film, Emma...and it's modern day reinterpretation, Clueless...Shakespeare in Love...The Great Santini...Salaam Bombay...Bandit Queen...Bombay...Macau by the Sea...and I am sure there are many, many more that I cannot recall right now.

...and those mistakes that I made...paying money to see the following films: Eyes Wide Shut (Stanley Kubrick is one of my favorite directors, but this film was just way too scattered with no apparent storyline)...As Good As It Gets (an excruciating experience to sit thru...Analyze This (too close to reality to be enjoyable)...The Rug Rats movie (words cannot begin to describe just the extreme sheer torture of sitting through this movie...Message in a Bottle (A horrid little film. Kevin Costner's character was soooo unlikable, a social cretan (he reminded me of my anti-social, misogynist, mono-syllablic brother), and YET the women in this film find him irresistable, a keeper, the man of their dreams! I walked out on this film but I understand it had a real cheesy, overly sappy ending)...Notting Hill (I still can't believe Julia Roberts is the highest paid actress in hollywood. A dead dog is a better actor. Thank GOD she turned down the Gwyneth Paltrow character in Shakespeare in Love.)...Cabin Boy (avoid this video rental "by any means necessary" I learned from this rental experience to not rent a film if the box has absolutely NO reviews on it.)...runner up for the second worse video rental, It's Pat, another humorless comedy...Dead Again...any film with Ernest in the title...any Bette Midler flick...and many, many more that elude my feeble mind at the moment.
