In my spare time I like to write poetry. Here's one of mine:
For My Love
In my heart there was a lonely place
Hi! I'm Belle650 (aka Belle47, and a host of other nicks on other
programs)and my real identity, is Wendy. I'm 48, separated, and live with
my 3 cats and asorted roommates. By profession, I am a counselor in the
fields of domestic violence, drugs, alcohol, mental health, development
disabilities, and probably a few others that I've forgotten. I have
recently moved to the Los Angeles area from Massachusetts, and have done a
few years of living in other states (mostly the state of Confusion).
I love to travel; I love jazz, blues, oldies and classical music; I am
addicted to caffeine, nicotine, CHOCOLATE, and MEN.....not necessarily in
that order, but men and chocolate can be an interesting combination.
all empty
dark
and cold
and then one day your light came in
replacing cold
filling
the void
i sat and watched you patiently
sharing yourself
with
the world
giving your love and kindness
to those
who
never knew
the value of the gifts
you gave
or
of you
silently i saw your soul
reaching out
searching
like mine
for a peaceful place
of love
acceptance
and hope
there in the darkness
your soul
healed
my heart
unfolding the tattered wings
of dreams
and
of love
now i know you have always been
right there
inside
my heart
and no matter what happens
we will
stay
forever loved
