I launched my boat and christened her "Wetdream" on July 15, 1977.

I decided on that name because it really was my wet dream come true. I knew that she was going to be my vehicle to roam the planet, affording me the freedom to go on the adventures I had always known would be my destiny.

Everyone says "a boat is a hole in the water you pour money into", I have done that, and also poured my life into her for over twenty years now, and cannot possibly imagine ever doing anything else.

Started in San Francisco at her launch. globe.jpg (9232 bytes)Then outfitted her for ocean cruising and went to Baja California for my first coastal shakedown cruise.

I knew then that I would go farther and eventually decided to do it all!

 
My background was commercial fishing in Alaska which gave me the knowledge and perseverance necessary to undertake such a grand adventure. route.jpg (33689 bytes)
Since then I have cruised 14,500 nautical miles. 

I have been many places, met many wonderful people, my wanderlust beckons me onward for more.
