![]() ![]() Okay, I'm not really a mouse. I'm a human. I'm a female. As I write this I am a twenty-seven-year-old human female. Was that a gasp of astonishment I heard? How many of you thought I was younger? I'm not even going to ask if you thought I was older, I don't want to know. I'm not surprised if you thought I was younger. I suffer from Peter Pan Syndrome, a term I picked up from a college professor who claimed she suffered from the same. All this means is that I refuse to grow up. Why would I want to? ![]() Other than enjoying life by refusing to grow up, I also enjoy watching television (Glory Days is my current favorite), watching movies (I love the Mighty Ducks and Scream trilogies), reading books (Diane Mott Davidson is my current favorite), baking and playing on the computer. ![]() As you wander through my website, you might discover a mouse or two or a hundred. I love mouse stuff!!! I know that seems a very odd critter to love, but it's all my parents' fault and it all started Christmas of 1982. That year my mom and dad bought me a Hallmark ornament of a white mouse in a green and red stocking. I was hooked. I have gotten at least one mouse ornament a year since. My friends all say when they see a mouse, they think of me. A few friends in high school even called me "Mouse" but that had more to do with the fact that I played Jaq the mouse in our production of Cinderella. ![]() However, I am now a long way from high school and no one calls me Mouse anymore. Just about everyone calld me Jo, except for Pookie, my two-year-old daughter who calls me "Mama". Aside from Pookie, I share my life with my husband, Jr. We were married on July 28, 2000. ![]() So, that's me. I hope you enjoyed getting to know the mouse behind the madness and you enjoy your visit to Jo's Place. Please sign my guestbook and let me know you were here. ![]() ![]() |
