Headings and Bearings

USS Grail

Bearings are mesured in degrees according to the ship's orientation and elevation. The spacecraft is always at bearing 000, mark 000 and it's destination is mesured by comparing the desired direction to the present one.
Headings are also mesured in degrees, but are relative to the center of the galaxy. A starship heading toward the center of the galaxy is at heading 000.
