Subj: LonerBaby's Tragedy and Help needed
Hi All:
I have come tonight to let all know of a crises in our community. Some of you may have heard hints or more about the recent events of last weekend. Well I going to let all have a change to help own of our own get back his will to live. This is a sad and traumatic thing that I'm about to talk about but it has been made less so by his friends and we are raising a small amount of money to help him more. So please read this and help by what you can, even if it's just a kind word for him!!!I wasn't in the channel until after it happened and was almost over but here is what I know happened. Lonerbaby had been upset for several days and in a depressed mood, he is Bi-Polar and thus subject to sever depression. He apparently took a bunch of pills and later came on IRC #wetville and talked to those there, just before he left he told them he was going to die. He had taken an overdose of pills, Well none knew how to get hold of Randy (LonerBaby) all we knew is that he's from Iowa!!! So everyone was very shaken and upset about it. Finally LonerMom (Cindyy) came on and tried to call him as they had been calling him a bit,but got no answer so SissiMom, DougsMom, SissiBaby and L-E and others got working on it too. they reached the local cops and gave his phone number, who found Randy (Lonerbaby) unconscious and within two hours of death. Naturally they took him to the hospital, he survived and is in the mental ward currently. LonerMom has dug deep in her pockets to call him everyday and talk to him, giving us all updates. He is very depressed still and she is very worried about him. As are most of us that know him are also!!!
So a decision was reached tonight to raise 500.00 for Lonermom to visit him in the hospital and try to help through this as his loneliness is one of the prime cause of his depression. We have received pledges up to 155.00 within in two hours or so and am confident it can be done. I will post an update to the Soggy Press telling who has pledged what and such. Please any who can spare a few dollars help out with this cause. I know there are enough of us that if we all give a little then it can be done with little damage to any of our pockets!!!!
In my opinion this is a worthy cause so please give whatever support on this you can.
She can not leave until july so we have plenty of time to pull this off. I know this ear chewing is gonna help one of our friends.
