Hi ! as you know my name is Wayne .
I live in Levack,Ontario,Canada.
Levack is one of the communities in The Regional Municipality of Onaping Falls. We are located 30 miles Northwest of The City of Sudbury "The Nickel Capital of the World".
This region was struck millions of years ago by a meteor the size of Mt. Everest. The meteor penetrated the Earth ten kilometers, and created a crater two hundred kilometers in size. During the course of time the crater diminished in size, leaving what is now referred to as "The Sudbury Basin". The initial impact created an over abundance of rich mineral resources, mainly Nickel with varying amounts of other precious and semi-precious metals.The landscape that the meteor created is similar to that of the Moon. For this reason N.A.S.A. has brought astronauts here to orient them to conditions that they would encounter on the Moon.
I was born here in Levack and I worked in the mining industry here for many years. I have also lived and worked in other parts of Ontario, as well as in the Provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. I had the opportunity over the years to work in many other fields besides mining, which gave me a wealth of knowledge in many areas.
All of my life I have had a desire to help others, which I continue to do. For many years, I helped fellow workers resolve problems with management. I did so, both as a Union Steward and as an Occupational Safety and Health Representative. My honest, straight-forward approach earned me the respect of my peers, my fellow workers, and of management personnel at all levels.
I obtained my first Radio in 1968 and I still enjoy our Hobby.
I was the Northern Ontario Co-ordinator for the Radio Canada Dx Group for 6 years as RC07. During that time I served one year as Assistant Dominion Controller for the Group as well as one year as Dominion Controller ( RCO1 ).
I am the Ontario Provincial Controller for the "X-Ray" Club, ( The Transworld Sidebanders ). My Call Sign 54XO1.
In December of 1998 I started up a new International Dx Group called Romeo Fox as the World Controller - 9RF001
I belong to a number of other Groups as well, but mainly use RF001 as my Call Sign.
In March of 1998 after many attempts using Search Engines to find " 11 Meter Radio " and coming up blank, I started to create

After many months of hard work it has turned into a very good resource for 11 Meter Radio Operators and all others interested in our Hobby.
Now when others do a " Search " for 11 Meter Radio they will find it.
I will continue to add to it to make it even better.
